Very Disappointed

My wife and I went to Cafe Madrid this past Saturday in hopes of eating authentic tapas, but were very disappointed in the quality of the food. The food was ok but nothing like what you get in Spain. The only thing authentic to the Spanish culture and tapas bars was the slow service and the fact they charge you for bread. My wife is is from Madrid so this was a big disappointment for her. They can at least use the right kind of rice for the paella and $26 for a waterdowned pitcher of sangria is a little ridiculous!

Its menu includes Spanish potato omelet, fried calamari, marinated grilled pork loin, tuna empanadas, octopus vinaigrette, fried shrimp, saut ed spinach, saffron rice, lamb croquettes, grilled salmon and pork chops. The restaurant additionally provides tuna skewers, beef sirloin, garbanzo beans, stuffed mushrooms, grilled chicken, ham, and oxtail and beef stews. Its wine list includes chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon and merlot. The restaurant also hosts various music concerts and dance shows. Cafe Madrid is located in Dallas.
