THANK GAWD i do not have to go to the VAMC, Denver, CO. I am a disabled vet. I attempted to reach the PC of another veteran who couldn't because he was too ill to talk. He needed a lifesaving prescription. He'd tried to reach his PC and no one at the VA would allow him to do so. When I attempted to help, no one would allow me to reach anyone. Huh? After 7 hours -yes, 7 hours on the phone, I still reached anyone who gave a rat's..s. I was hung up on, left on hold, called the "call center" only to be connected to another call center and left on hold and told by 'Sandy' who assured me that she would resolve the situation and get back to me. She didn't. When I called back she hung up on me. I called again and ask to speak to someone else. I got 'Sandy'. She hung up on me. Then when I attempted to speak to her. I was admonished by a VA employee (public servant), who inferred that I was imposing on the clinic (A) , had no right to be calling and for calling more than once, in my attempt to assist the SERVICE CONNECTED veteran. How DARE a veteran call on behalf of another service connected veteran and attempt to reach his PC for a lifesaving prescription. I guess if you are a disabled veteran you have to actually come to the clinic and wait THERE to perish rather than call for a lifesaving prescription.

Hello VAMC/Denver employees -and 'Sandy', you have a job at the VAMC because of us -veterans. Got it? It's not the other way around.

I think I have to give at least 1 star to post a comment but in reality this place is minus 5 stars. If you want to live, find another option.
