This place was perfect for a night stay on our way thru. My family loved the water park. The kids didn't want to get out. The entire staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is close to everything. Our room a jr. suite was perfect for the four of us. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel might not be big but for one price the amenities are awesome. We didn't have to pay extra for a microwave or a refrigerator! I love it that everything looked modern from furniture to appliances. The continental breakfast was superior to others we've experienced w/ more choices (e.g. not just a coffee selection but hot cocoa and cappuccino). That's a savings of $35 plus right there for breakfast @ a restaurant for 4!

The exercise room is compact w/ 2 treadmills and an elliptical but they are of heavy duty high quality. The pool area is smaller than what we've experienced but again it has enough fun attributes to entertain kids 12 and under. The temp. of the pool water could be a little warmer if I had one complaint. Most important of all it is clean clean clean everywhere! Not one area looked frumpy.

Overall

When I traveled recently to Dickinson for a business trip, I chose the Comfort Inn for my 2 night stay. I couldn't have made a better choice. First, it was very easy to locate and easily accesible from the highway. There is not a lot of room for parking in their own lot, however, there is a spacious parking lot just right across the street that is not inconvenient. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff made me feel welcome with warm and sincere greetings, quick and efficient check-in and also provided me with information about the Inn that I would find helful throughout my stay. When asked for suggestions on dining in the area, I was provided with several options, both within walking distance and with a short drive. A new restaurant in the area, Players, was definitely a favorite and highly recommended for both food and atmosphere. My room was clean and inviting and the bed was very comfortable. A microwave and refrigerator makes a multiple day stay so much more convenient, so I was pleased to see the room included these features. The same evening I checked in, the staff had placed some delicious appetizers in the dining area in the late afternoon consisting of cheese and crackers, fresh veggies and dip and even a crockpot with meatballs. What a nice surprise! In the morning, breakfast was hot and available at 6am with a different menu served each day of my stay. Fresh fruit, yogurts, cold boiled eggs, a variety of breads and a waffle iron ready to bake a deliciously hot waffles were available each morning. Hot foods varied between scrambled eggs, cheese omelettes and fried eggs with bacon, sausages or ham. Biscuits and gravy were also available each day as were fresh hot coffee, hot water for tea/cocoa and icy cold juices. The pool area was also a bonus; clean and well maintained. The water slide was a big hit with the young (and older) people staying at the Inn and although my room was quite close to the pool, I was not disturbed by the sounds of fun being had at the pool. The hot tub was wonderful to enjoy at the end of a day's travel. When the time came to check out, it couldn't have been easier with the bill slipped under the door on the last morning of the stay. Not only will I make this Comfort Inn my choice when returning to Dickinson, I would highly recommend to any visitors to the area.

This is a great place for both business people and families with children to stay. I stayed here during my most recent business trip, and was very pleased with the facility in its entirety. The staff was very friendly, and went out of their way to help me with my business paperwork requirements (fax, printing). My room was very clean and well-kept. The exercise room had all the equipment I use. The kid's pool was viewable by the breakfast room, with a water slide and multiple sea-creature fountains. The breakfast bar offered a wide variety of tasty items, and you could also make your own waffles with fresh fruit in the morning. It's right off interstate, and has the added benefit of the Elks Lodge and restaurant just across the parking lot. The area is famous for its nearby dinosaur museum for kids and adults, as well as some amazing, huge welded sculptures along what is known as the "Enchanted Highway". It is common for hunters to frequent this part of the state for pheasant, deer, elk, etc. and Medora ("Teddy Roosevelt country") is not too far down the road. Although the place is undergoing renovation and is near completion, it was quiet. Parking was convenient. It provided the most pleasant stay I've had in western North Dakota - ever!

We almost always find Comfort Inn to have great beds, good breakfast and all the amenities we look for on the road...refrig, ice and quiet rooms. Not disappointed in Dickinson. Conveniently located for us to get to and from Theodore Roosevelt National Park easily.

Overall

I was in Dickinson for work in September and wanted to stay in a quieter part of town. I got exactly what I was expecting from the Comfort Inn as each night of the week was peaceful, without loud disturbances (outdoors or indoors). Even the kids in the waterpark were well-behaved and kept the noise down (my room was right next to the pool area). The room exceeded my expectations as the beds were soft, and having a selection of comfort pillows was a luxurious surprise. The working fridge/freezer were spotless, and there were no issues with the toilet/sink. The fitness area was fantastic, 3 cardio machines that were very well kept, in a clean and tidy room that smelled fresh! Lexie at the front desk was just fabulous. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the town, and provided several recommendations regarding food, shopping and even the energy companies out there in the oil patch. She made the experience very much worth it with her bright personality and positive, helpful attitude.

LEGENDARY! Because of business, I travel extensively both domestic and abroad. I have had the opportunity to stay in an assortment of properties from both ends of the economic scale. I've been involved with the hospitality industry for over 25 years and have certain expectations for my hotel stays. This property has consistently exceeded all of my expectations on every stay! The property, while older, is in top-notch condition and is the cleanest you will find in the area. Trust me, I've visited most of them. The staff here is impeccable. I assure you, if you are lucky enough to get a reservation or room at this property, you will not be disappointed. Clean rooms, terrific hot breakfast, indoor pool and spa, and business services beyond your expectations. Sincere thanks to Katina, Jaineen, and Carma for always being accommodating!

I travel about 220 nights per year mostly for business but some for pleasure and I always enjoy staying in Dickinson ND at the Comfort Inn, the main reason is the STAFF !!!! Great people. Jeanine at the front desk is out standing and always goes the extra mile to make your reservations work and take care of any room problems that might arise. The other front desk staff is also great with several of the ladies recognizing you by name when you come to check in. Always friendly, always happy to help. Aditionally the staff that takes care of the breakfast buffet is always right there with new hot items, They do not over load the buffet and let things get cold or stale, it's always fresh.

Talk about service, here is another experiance I had here.

One day while staying there I took my car in for service at a local shop and instead of waiting hours there I called the hotel and they sent a maintenance man to pick me up and bring me back to the hotel. This made my day much more productive and I really apperciated the extra service.

For families there is a pool complex with kiddy fountains and such so i imagine for those with young kids this is a popular place also.

I see a lot of hotel rooms each year all around the country and even out of the country and i can tell you that the comfort inn may not be the fanciest place i stay but it is very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. Good free WiFi too.

My family and I recently were at the Comfort Inn in Dickinson, ND and had such a wonderful time at their indoor waterpark. The pool area was in excellent condition and the pool was a very comfortable temperature. The kids just loved going down the waterslide and also jumping on their lilly pads. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and I know the kids would enjoy visiting the pool area again, too!

Most grateful for the military discount....Hol Inn in Dickinson gives NO discounts at all, not even AARP, Gov, etc. They are clearly screwing everyone in town, just 'cuz they can, with all the oil workers, etc.

Pool was a blast, clean, breakfast was really great! Most food I've seen almost ever! I travel in winter for work, other breakfasts aren't even close...

Rooms were very good, beds were clean, comfortable.... could have been a bit larger, I think I forgot to ask for "queen size"......

Told the front desk, the only squawk, bathrooms need some towel hooks, as well as just outside the bath door...

Great time, planning to return.....
