The Tavern

The Tavern is huge! They have everything this girl needs for a fun night out with friends. Darts, pool, music, great wine selection, even cider beer on tap. I love the bartenders, they are really nice. They remembered me after the first time I was there. And convenient parking. I don't like parking downtown and having to walk by myself, but the Tavern has lots of parking right outside the door. They recently got food and I'm over the moon about their wings in carribbean sauce. Not to mention they have the best ranch dressing in Durham. All in all, this place is a 10!

I walked into the new Tavern in Durham and thought to myself WOW this place is sweet. As you enter the building you are greeted by door guys who look mean but are rather nice. Then you walk right by a bar that must be a mile long with liqor on display and a wall of taps of craftbeer (I say to myself again Sweet). They have a great space if you want to play pool or just sit down and watch the game on TV. If you have not been there yet give it a try it is SWEET.

The Tavern is a long needed addition to West Durham and the Ninth Street District. It has things to do like pool and foosball. There is also an amazing balcony with dart boards. When you are playing, you can overlook the pool tables and the entire bar area. I have got to get to the drinks & draft selection. It's mostly local and craft beers on tap which is great because I like supporting local brewerys. They also have great liquor selection like Basil Hayden and Knob Creek two of my favorite. Great T.V.'s Great specials Geat atmosphere a must see.
