Angie is a Master Barber and has always given me excellent haircuts. She is one of the few barbers that actually listens to your request and follows through with exceptional accuracy.

Overall
Socially Challenged and Distraught

To the reviewer with the bad experience: It's unfortunate that you have had bad experiences at Supreme Cuts but that might be indicative of other challenges you're experiencing with social interactions. First let me assure you since I am a Mid-Level Manager with the FAA in Washington and I've patronized this shop for over 8 years, I do personally know of lots of "professionals" like myself who have had very good experiences with the Supreme Cuts barbershop. That was a cheap shot and I take exception to your statements. Since I am in my 50's, I remember growing up in Washington and observing how the neighborhood barbershop hosted spirited debates among men of color to openly discuss sports, politics, world events, and entertainment news. That my young friend has not changed and I am happy to see that Howard County and Supreme Cuts hosts this type of interaction for it's clientele. Did you bother to notice the shop clientelle is interacial too? The Supreme Cut barbers are all young Howard County entrepreneurs who've established a name for themselves utilizing a common sense business approach coupled with limitless ambition for success. They are Asian, Latino, African, White, and African American men and women. I have nothing but admiration and respect for them: unfortunately I can't say the same for you. I believe you've been way too critical and need to take a fresh look. Give it some thought and perhaps pick a different time of day or week to suit your personal needs. Worst case just go somewhere else and give the rest of us a break. You're really not that important.

Overall
Barbershop for professionals

I’ve been a loyal customer at Supreme Cuts for the past 4 years. I know all of the barbers very well and have established professional relationships thru informal networking in various lines of businesses within a comfortable setting. Every week I look forward to the various topics that are discussed. It’s refreshing to have an outlet to express your points of view, debate with staff or customers, and at the conclusion whether you agree with the point of view or not peacefully conclude the dialogue with a handshake or a brotherly hug. The services rendered to me have been outstanding. This is only natural, since I’ve been a loyal customer for four years. I knew I was in the right place when I was getting married and my barber went into an intense area of concentration. He made it a point to his staff and customers that he could not be disturbed while he was preparing me for my big day. He communicated this in a very professional manner. Please note that he did this early on when we first met prior to establishing a friendship. Since then, my barber has continued to bring his A-game when cutting my hair. I can be a very harsh critic and will discontinue receiving any type of professional service if it is delivered in an unsatisfactory manner. My barber has always been able to accommodate my schedule and has become one of my personal close friends. Like most educated people and professionals I look over reviews and take them with a grain of salt. Like most educated people and professionals I draw my own conclusion from my own experience. My opinion/views for any establishment will be based on the delivery of the services I sought out which meet my personal requirements. Educated people and professionals have their own requirements that must be fulfilled and have their own mechanism of measuring satisfactory services rendered to them. In response to the gentlemen that posted this review, it appears your personal experience was unsatisfactory. When rendering any type of service, things can happen and I’m not going to disagree or debate you on your personal experience. On my part that would be inappropriate. I applaud you in expressing your experience to other audiences. It’s healthy and can be very informative to readers. Like I stated earlier on, in the end individuals generate their own opinion on their experience. However, I was insulted by the opening of your dialogue which states “Mostly local rough necks”. I am a Director at one of the top three technology firms within Annapolis Junction. I have staff/colleagues/friends that are part of the Supreme Cuts family. As I stated earlier, other professionals in various lines of business are also part of the Supreme Cuts family. So in closing I ask you to please look up the term “rough neck” and think about the words you choose. I do not wish to engage in continuous dialogue with you. As a matter of fact if you respond to my review that’s great, but my goal is not to get into a debate. It’s to bring awareness to you about choosing your words carefully. You never know who you might offend. It could very well be someone who employs you at the top level or an educated colleague of yours. Choose your words carefully.

My experience not so Supreme

Not the place for professionals. Mostly local rough necks. My barber had me come down to the shop just to wait! This is after he failed to follow up on a text message that I sent to him. Poor communication and respect for a customer that get a cut weekly or bi-weekly.

Each time that I went, it was loud and the barbers were talking and shouting more than cutting. The couches inside the shop are so uncomfortable that dudes sit in the chairs in the hallway! The set up is awful. There is about eight barbers in a circle facing each other. I like sports but each time that I went in thats all that was on TV. What about the news or CNN?

The excessive talking and argumentative shouting while cutting is distracting and some of the barbers there really need to concentrate on cutting hair. Because each time they stop cutting to turn and shout or talk takes time from the customer. Who wants to be a barber chair all day.

The cuts were average or below average and not Supreme.
