Little Cancun

I have been a Mexican Food Afficianado in the Milwaukee area for many years, I have witnessed the rise and fall of many Mexican Food landmarks (i.e. La Fuente). Little Cancun is one of the better authentic places. Granted the atmosphere is not a fine dining destination but the food more than makes up for it. Despite the other reviews mentioning the cold food or wrong orders, I have never had this happen to me and I go there at least once a month. The food has always been excellent, flavorful, and hot! The service and margaritas are great too. If you like authentic Mexican food at a good price this is the place to go. However, if you prefer over-priced, americanized mexican food from a fancy and snooty dining establishment; perhaps Rick Howell has a good recommendation.

I have been going to Little Cancun since they were located in Romines pool hall. I have yet to find a mexican restaurant as good as Little Cancun. I have taken at least a dozen people and refered at least another dozen and I have had nothing but rave reviews from all of them that have tried it. I have spent many days in many cities in Texas and have not found any of the restaurants any better. This is more of a Tex-Mex style food but it is awesome. They have the best green salsa I have ever tasted and the chips are delicious and always nice and hot when served. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. It is definetely in my top 5.
