Morris Attorney Phillip at Law

DO NOT use this laywer!!! He takes advantage of your emotional state and will find ways to overcharge you for every little thing. Meeting with him one time a handful of 5 minute phonecalls cost me almost $2000 over the course of 2 business days. Total ripoff! He will milk you for all that you have. No telling how much he would've charged me had I not fired him. Oh, and the only reason he has a high BBB rating is because the BBB can't get involved in complaints for legal services. I thought it was a little fishy that the guy never had one complaint through the BBB. You've been warned.

Mr. Morris and his assistants were amazing in handling my custody case. They are all very nice and easy to talk to but also very professional. They made something I thought would be difficult, into something easy and painless. I am grateful for all their help and would definitely use them again if needed.

Phillip Morris handled both a criminal case and a custody case for me. Phillip and his staff worked tirelessly and helped me through every set of the process. I wasn't very familiar with the legal system or with how the legal system worked. Phillip and his staff guided me through the murky waters of the court system. They made sure I understood everything that was going on and every offer that was presented. Phillip helped me to get the best deal possible in the criminal case, one that I was happy with. In my custody case Phillip went the extra mile and did everything possible to maximize the amount of time I get with my son. Phillip wasn't out just get a paycheck, he actually cares about his clients and wants the best for them. I would recommend Phillip Morris to anyone, because they will get a great lawyer.

Definitely recommend! Both Mr. Morris and his assistant are very efficient and kind! He traveled all the way on the other side of Texas for me. Even though it wasn't very likely I would win on where the case would transfer, he gave his all in court and we ended up winning! So thankful For Mr. Morris! Also he is very easy to talk to unlike most lawyers and I found that to be a big plus!

Regarding the 2 negative reviews listed below. They are from the same client who was impossible to please. They were way more interested in causing as much trouble for their ex as possible. I had a difficult time collecting from this client and the client didn't communicate very well. The matter was resolved through a mediated settlement agreement and then the client wanted to change the terms after they got what they asked for. We were always prepared, on time and represented the clients interest vigorously. Of course, the best way for the client to get be successful is to follow the advice and recommendations provided by their attorney which this client never did!!! I wonder why they would leave a review like this and then call me and ask me to represent them again? No thanks

I would not recommend this lawyer to anyone. He was unprepared everytime I had to go to court, he never showed up on time and didnt show that he was trying to fight for what was right. Philip promised the world during the consultation and I felt comfortable and secure and felt I was in good hands until I handed over that check. He backed down and let the defending lawyers have their way with our case which was a devastating loss. I dont post reviews but I feel very strong about mu experience and wouldnt want anyone else to go through this experience with so mich at stake.

NEVER use this lawyer if you like a lawyer to be on time, communicate with you, follow up on phone calls and emails. This was the worst experience of my life. It's bad enough that I had to go through a divorce but to use a lawyer who shows no concern or don't put forth the effort necessary to make this process easier just made it all worse. This was one of the worst decisions I've ever made.
