Gallup High School, located in Gallup, N.M., is part of the Gallup-McKinley county Public Schools. It offers a college preparatory curriculum to more than 1,500 students in grades nine through 12. Its courses include English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical education, health education, humanities, computer science and a choice of more than 20 electives. Advanced placement courses are available for students who wish to earn college credit while in high school. Its resources include math, science, computer and graphic arts labs, library with an integrated media center and library. It has a school improvement team, comprising teacher, parents and students, who develop new goals each year. Gallup High School offers various sports, including basketball, football and volleyball.
