After years of spending countless thousands of dollars at Aramco Blinds, I call for a quote for repairs to a storm door for which I paid $500 and was told that a contractor now makes service calls and charges for estimates. The guy who answered the phone said maybe its time for a new door. Maybe it's time for a NEW DOOR COMPANY, one that stands behind it's products and for whom the almighty dollar is not everything. So much for spending my money at a "local" business.

Please note; This review is 2-fold. I have a B&B in Crystal Beach, Tx that was recently devasted by Hurricane Ike.

I have electric doors and windows on the gulf side. They worked very well with one exception, there was no way to close the door when the electric failed, so now I am faced with buying a new motor which works as a wind-up or electric

INSIDE. This is extremely impt, because there was no way to secure the door outside when trapped inside in a life or death situation. Please look into this before purchasing you hurricane doors.
