West Isle Urgent Care

This is overall the best clinic I have been to. I went in after being sick for about 2 weeks. First of all I was greeted by friendly people at the front desk. Then taken to the back and triaged quickly by caring staff. That means so much when you don't feel well. I was in and out in less than 30 mins Why can't I be treated this way at my regular doctor? Think West Isle will be my new choice in health care!!!!!!!!

Brought my husband in while on vacation. The staff were very nice and polite, understanding and empathetic. He was taken to the back within moments of completing the necessary paperwork and we were on our way out not long after. The pharmacy had his antibiotic ready within the hour and he was feeling better the next day. We were then able to enjoy the rest of our trip. Thanks West Isle!

I went because I woke up with a swollen eye. Wasn't sure what is was. The office staff was very friendly and nice. The doctor came in the room, touched my eye without me seeing him clean his hands or have any gloves on. Shined a light in my eye and said "yeah I'm not really sure what it is." and walked out. He walked back in and said," well maybe you had an allergic reaction to something. I'll get you some eye drops." So I'm leaving the office and they print something off of the Internet for pink eye. They didn't call CVS till an hour later to call in my prescription. The medicine was almost $200. I called them back for something different and cheaper. (I wasn't going to pay $200 for medicine & didn't know it was going to work) so they tell me I have 2 different medicines I can take. One was over the counter, I go to see what is was and it was for itching and redness relief. MY EYE DID NOT ITCH NOR WAS IT RED. Ugh so frustrated. Next time I will wait for my UTMB doctor to have an opening appt.

They are courtious and friendly. They see you right away. I have always gotten good service.
