Crandall Public Library

I've been using this library for over 12 years. An enormous collection of books, print, multimedia, including DVDs, videos & audio books. Handicap accessible & they also have an outreach program for homebound patrons with delivery & pick up of books (which I used for 9 years when I was homebound). A variety of free programs including writer's, author's, poets & other readings or workshops, children's programs, folk life demonstrations, screened films (independent Cannes type usually), too many to list. Call or email them for more info. Their web site makes looking up books or materials & reserving them easy! If they don't have an item, inter-library loan can generally get it for you. Extremely helpful, friendly, patient & generous staff, computers & other equipment available, plus they also answer questions by phone as most libraries do. For a small city library, it is as full featured as a large university collection & service.
