I took my son here to be checked out because when he began 7th grade he abruptly began running miles in PE and his body, not being conditioned for this, began experiencing tightness in the chest upon extreme physical exertion. I had been told occasionally since his birth he also has a heart murmur. I thought I had made my appointment with Dr. Sharma, but when we showed up we saw a nurse practitioner instead. She immediately became argumentative with me when I explained the reason for my visit. She accused me of not wanting my son to exercise, raised her voice at me several times, and implied I was a liar because she was unable to hear his heart murmur, and DEMANDED I tell her who ever told me he had one. She was extremely rude and argumentative and after leaving the office I went home and changed my son's assigned doctor so that we would never have to encounter this woman ever again. Her behavior was disgusting.

My son is going to see a cardiologist tomorrow to be checked out and make sure he is healthy to run miles and participate in sports programs. Parents really need to fight for their children, but what I endured here was disgraceful and unacceptable.
