Illness Treatment

Parasites Treatment and Control
It is a safe, effective, convenient, and economical way to prevent heartworms. If you've ever forgotten to give your dog his or her monthly heartworm prevention, then ProHeart® 6 or 12 may be for you.
Behavioral Disorder Treatment
In cats, rabies and FVRCP (feline distemper, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) are core vaccines and recommended in every cat (rabies vaccine is required by law). Feline leukemia vaccine is recommended for cats at risk of contracting the virus (cats that go outdoors, roam, or live with multiple other cats).
Pain Management
With your pet’s comfort and safety at the forefront, we utilize pain management protocols before, during, and after surgery until they are completely recovered. This includes monitoring vital signs, assessing your pet for pain indicators, and keeping them well-fed, warm and comfortable in their surroundings.
Vomiting Treatment
Skin Condition and Allergy Treatment
Severe allergic reactions: facial swelling, itching, vomiting, difficulty breathing, collapse Some severe allergic reactions can be an emergency requiring immediate veterinary assistance. Signs of a severe allergic reaction often occur within the first hour but may occur at any time during the first 24 hours after treatment. Please watch your dog closely for any of the above signs for 24 hours after treatment with ProHeart® 6 because these signs may indicate that your dog is having a severe allergic reaction.
Injury Treatment
Laser therapy is often used in conjunction with physical therapy or rehab and is a non-invasive, pain-free treatment that helps to reduce inflammation, decrease pain, and aid in healing. Laser therapy is good for post-surgical patients, chronic arthritis, skin conditions, muscle strains and sprains, joint or disc disease, wounds, bites, and burns.

Leptospirosis Treatment
In dogs, rabies and DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvo, and parainfluenza) are core vaccines and recommended in every dog (rabies vaccine is required by law). Bordetella vaccine (kennel cough) and canine influenza (dog flu) are recommended in all dogs that will be in a boarding or grooming setting, or have contact with other dogs. Leptospirosis vaccine is recommended in most dogs unless they are strictly indoors or toy breeds.
Parvovirus Infection Treatment
Feline Retro Virus Treatment
We recommend bringing your new pup or kitten in at six weeks of age for a thorough exam to check for any congenital abnormalities or other problems that may exist. At that time we will give the first set of vaccines, perform a check of the feces for intestinal parasites, give a routine dewormer for roundworms and hookworms, and start heartworm prevention. In cats, we will also want to test for the presence of feline leukemia virus and feline AIDS virus prior to the first vaccination.
Bacterial and Viral Infection Treatment
Why should you vaccinate your pet? Vaccinations are very important for young pets when their immune systems are still developing. Vaccines protect against many viral and bacterial infections in pets. Our vets provide vaccination education and discuss our vaccine schedule, which helps to keep your pet healthy.
Ear Infection Treatment
Your veterinarian will examine your pet from nose to tail, looking for things like heart murmurs, ear infections, and/or parasites. Your vet can also provide pet-proofing tips, training assistance, and parasite protection recommendations.
