Dr. Marla has been a real miracle for our family! The first orthodontist we went to walked into the exam for 5 minutes and recomended extractions of 4 permanent teeth. Like a good patient I did exactly as I was told and took him and had the 4 teeth extracted. After that my son had his braces on and we began the 24 month treatment plan. After a few months, I noticed that his teeth were straight and the gaps were there for the permanent teeth. Why would he have these gaps if we needed more room? Not exactly sure of what was going on, we decided to get a second opionion. Dr. Marla seemed the most educated and experienced, so we went to see her. She confirmed my greatest fear, that we had extractions we didn't need. She NEVER said that the other doctor was wrong, but you can figure it out. So, now we are working to undo one doctor's flippant decision to extract after seeing him for 5 mins. Dr. Marla has spent a lot of time helping us understand & fix what happened. She's AWESOME!
