I purchased my vehicle from Kaners via EBay. The listing had more than 50 pictures. The vehicle is exactly as described and in very good condition for a 16 year old vehicle.

I bought a 2003 Toyota 4Runner from Kane’s Motor Sales in October of 2017. It was online so I did not to look at it in person, only in pictures. My first mistake. I had it delivered to NC from their lot. Several things were missing from the vehicle when I picked it up, front skid plate, floor mats and the foot rest on the driver side. Not a big deal but did cost me about a couple of hundred dollars. They may have been missing even in the pictures. Now the second mistake... The underbody pictures did not show any major problems that I could see. Upon receiving the vehicle I found so much rust and corrosion I could not believe it was the same 4Runner. The whole thing was super dirty and leaves and grass etc were even in the inside. Seats dirty, carpet filthy, not clean at all. I cleaned everything up waxed and polished, painted and treated the rust, bought replacement parts for the frame etc, etc. The spare tire hanger was so rusty it did not even turn and was flaking apart like so many other parts of the frame and underbody. Toyota is partly to blame too. Same frame as the Tacoma’s but they have not recalled them. That’s another matter. I guess the third mistake may have been buying from up north. Just remember you have to be careful buying on line, you better go and look at the vehicle. I was stationed in Japan so I couldn’t, but.... I won’t say don’t buy from Kaner’s Motor Sales but they were not any help, could not even get the skid plate or a battery (it was completely bad too). I finally gave up on it and sold it loosing a good bit of money in only a few months, even with putting money into it. New tires, wheels and many more parts. Luckily I saved some money doing all the work myself. Just wanted to warn folks.

I bought a 2007 Toyota Prius from Bryan via eBay, and I can't tell you how happy I am with the purchase! Bryan was extremely easy to deal with and answered all of my questions that I had about the car. I live in Colorado, so buying a car in Pennsylvania was quite the distance from home--especially when the car had to be driven back. As a result of where I lived, I couldn't pick the car up for about 9 days after I paid for it, and Bryan made sure that I was able to keep it there on the lot (free of charge) until I came to get it--he was extremely accommodating. The description of the vehicle was one hundred percent accurate, with more than enough pictures to represent the vehicle. The Prius made the trip without any difficulty whatsoever and I averaged a solid 46 MPG on the way home.

When we flew into Philadelphia, Bryan had one of his employees pick us up from the train station with my new car and it was clean and ready to go. Physical inspection of the car was exactly as described and I could not have been happier with it!

I would recommend this dealership to everyone because of their honesty, willingness to work with you, and generally caring about your car buying experience--5/5 and A+.

Buyers be where. Bought van saw on ebay. Took for test drive seemed good until got on Highway. Broke down going out of state. Wouldn't refund money. Found out his Mechanic bandaid very expensive problems so seemed good at first until drove awhile. Tried finding attorney in area but said was hiding under several DBA. And didn't have correct insurance for used car dealer. Total fraud. Now stuck with several repair bills and PA not a friendly state to protect you from fraud used car dealers.

I purchased a minivan on ebay from this outfit. The dealer indicated that they had repaired the A/C, but when the car arrived, it did not work. Turns out, they had installed a junkyard compressor which did not work, and refilled the freon, which leaked out of the system during transport.
Also, there was undisclosed rust-through in the rocker panels, and the car had been resprayed along the lower body panels, indicating more hidden rust.

The oil was black, the brakes were worn and the fuel tank was empty.
The dealer offered $200 towards the A/C repair, and their ebay broker, Dennis Zelensky, matched that, but this is not satisfactory, since the repairs totaled $2000 for the A/C.
The dealer offered to take the car back if I would pay to return it, but I had already paid $1100 to ship it cross country, and I didn't want to pay that again to return it, since that was exactly the cost to repair the A/C.
Regardless, I am dissatisfied and would not recommend Kaners Motor Sales.

Small dealership. Nothing fancy, but they do have very nice cars. No games, no gimmicks. Bought mine in March as soon as I got my tax return. Dealt with Bryan. Very professional and responsible person. The car is worth every penny I paid for it. They also have mechanic's shop on premises so this fact gave me a lot of confidence when making up my mind. Would definitely recommend this place. THANKS!

I got my first car from this dealer about 6 months ago. Got a very good deal and Alex and staff were great, professional and very friendly. Car never gave me any problems since then and I only kept regular maintenance up to date (oil and filter changed, etc.).

2 months ago my son-in-law was looking for a car so I called them up to see if they got something we'd be interested in. We ended up buying another car from them as we got a reasonable price and a small discount as I was a repeat customer. My son-in-law likes it very much and takes good care of it (as he should).

I never write reviews, but these folk deserve the best rating on-line. Very satisfied and will definitely come back if I need another car. Trustworthy and very honest people. Highly recommend.

My wife and I went to Alex to buy a vehicle from them. They seemed nice and were willing to negotiate the price. Everything seemed fine. They said it was a great vehicle with no problems at all. We looked it over as well as we could, but drove a ways to get there, so we couldn't take it to our mechanic. We took a chance and bought it.



When we finally bought it, we brought it back to our mechanic. My mechanic immediately asked me if we could take the car back. It seems that the they actually removes the rear drive-shaft (to make sure the 4wd wouldn't ever engage. This particular car only used 4wd when it needed, so there was no way to test it out prior to purchase. Of course they did this because the front transfer case was shot, so it would not make noise. The mechanic said, the car could have locked up and even flipped us. He recommended we fix that before we drive it again. Also the AC system was leaking, the front drivers side control arm was bad and the front passenger axle needed to be replaced.



In all, it was about $2,000 worth of repairs (using some junk yard parts). It would have cost more in new parts, than we paid for the vehicle I honestly know a lot about cars, I never even thought to check to see if the drive-shaft was missing. It's typically not something anyone looks at. Honestly, I would stay away from this place. They definitely take short cuts in order to make a car present as a decent used auto.
