When my attorney at J. David Tax Law told me that if I was pleased with the service and representation that I'd received that he'd appreciate a review, I am happy to do so. They exceeded my expectations in every way. My wife and I had recently retired and I'd take a distribution from a retirement account. My rep at Fidelity did not tell me of my tax responsibility for that distribution. Last November we received a bill from the IRS for over $48k. We did not have that kind of money to pay. I just retired. I found J. David Tax Law on YP and called. I spoke to Bryan and he spent time with me, more than I thought a law firm would without asking for a fee, and answered all my questions. They broke my fee down so I could afford representation. Most importantly they solved our IRS problems in a way that gives us flexibility to pay very little and to pay it over a long period of time. I'm happy to share this experience. I was constantly worried about the IRS because I hadn't filed in several years. I didn't know where to turn or what to do, I didn't know where to get my info to file, but I was tired of having this hanging over me. I was referred to this tax firm by an attorney referral service. These people were fantastic, only worked with my attorney and his assistant. It was quicker than I thought possible and I was able to afford them, even though they are a law firm.

I received a letter from the IRS that they had turned me over to a private debt collector here in New York. I thought it was a scam. I called the IRS and they had, in fact, turned my IRS issue over to a collection agency, something new, they said. I immediately started getting two or three calls per day from the collection company. It was horrible. I was referred to this firm by my legal insurance and they have been wonderful. They stopped the calls and got it all resolved. I didn't have to pay the IRS anything. My attorney said that if I was pleased with the service he'd appreciate a review. It's sad to say but I hadn't filed taxes in 9 years. I knew that I would probably officially owe the IRS and New York a lot, when I did. I didn't realize that the IRS could file for me, and they did, and the amount they said I owed was a lot more than what it should have been. I had wanted to get this taken care of but did not know where to start on filing taxes since I did not have any documents. A friend of mine who is an accountant here in New York had worked with this firm in the past, so he referred me to them. I am glad to write this review because my attorney and his assistant at J. David Tax Law brought this to a much better resolution that I thought was possible.

These guys really help me out. I owed $92,000 to IRS from a foreclosure on a house I had back in 2009. Bank sent a 1099c. I was knocked over by this didn't know they could do this. My daughter abuot to start college IRS wanting full pay. Man these guys do a lot of work for my family and got me out of bad situation. I reaally appreciate the work they did for us.

I am an independent trucker, which makes me a business owner. I was going to an accounting person that was handling my taxes for years. I never had to pay much, if anything. I started a real estate staging business in 2006 and it escalated into a money making machine, for a couple of years. Then the economy crashed and I did not have money to pay my suppliers or employees. I used my payroll tax money to keep my business afloat, then I went out of business. The IRS did not forget. I am so glad I found these people. I was ripped off by a tax resolution company in California. They first told me they wanted $1000 up front to investigate my case, then they came back and want $1650 more, that is not all, they said my case was worse than they thought and said I had to come up with another $2900 to complete it. I'm embarrassed to say that I paid it all. Even worse, my case was not resolved. It was fine for over a year until my pay dramatically increased. The IRS came back and wanted me to pay more than I could afford. These are real attorneys, I worked with one attorney and a legal assistant from beginning to end. We had an IRS tax debt that was following us around for years. Finally they lowered the boom with a wage garnishment on my wife. We couldn't meet our expenses. My wife called this law firm but I was skeptical. We were able to workout the fee so we could afford it, they took less down up front since we had the garnishment. I'm glad we took a chance with them. Our attorneys there got the garnishment lifted and we are paying the IRS less than 10% of what they were taking from my wife's check. I'm grateful for them, they exceeded our expectations.

Wasn't sure where I could find someone to help me with my large IRS debt. Gotta say this went much smoother with them representing me than I'd would have ever imagined. My wife and I had an excellent experience working with this tax firm. You don't necessarily expect personalized service when your are working with attorneys, but that's what we received. I'm a realtor and believe in letting people know when a professional exceeded my expectations, and J. David Tax Law did. My debt from 1099 sales pay was negotiated into a far better outcome than I thought was possible.

My ex-husband left me holding the bag on a large business tax debt. When I started getting letters from the IRS demanding over a large amount of money I didn't know what to do or where to turn to. Great tax attorneys. They saved our family from a $622 a month IRS payment that there was no way in hades we could pay. Good consultation, explained everything, kept their word, got it done, would recommend.

I just can't say enough about how quickly this firm was able to deal with a $41k tax debt and IRS wage garnishment I had. They got my wage garnishment removed before my next pay period after I talked with them. In less than two months it's all over with the IRS. I'm now in a protected status with them and have a $111 a month payment they negotiated for me. That beats the heck out of $288 a week which was what I was being garnished by the IRS. They were a blessing to me and my family.
