Accent & Design Upholstery

Ken's had some health problems, so it took longer than expected, but the craftsmanship was nothing short of amazing. Our cats had clawed 1/4" scratch marks in a 150 year old sofa. When Accent Design was finished, it looked brand new. And the upholstery job was excellent as well.

After reading the reviews, I was extremely hesitant give Accent & Design a try; but since they have been in for many years reluctantly I decided to give them a give them the benefit of the doubt. They recovered a seat cushion on a boat I was very happy with the end results! Accent & Design did exactly what I asked, the quality of work was excellent and it was done quickly. I would highly recommend Accent & Design!

I dropped off an office chair here over 8 weeks ago and was told it would be done in a week. I've called numerous times and get the response that "it's almost done" and someone will call me back with an update which rarely happens. I'm beginning to think I'm never going to get my chair back.

Took my husbands chair in to be reupholtered when he was going in for surgery. They assured me it would be ready in time for his recovery period at home. It wasn't. This dragged on for months, in the middle of having to care for my husband. We ended up buyng another chair, then these jerks tried to deliver the completed chair months later. It was terrible, unprofessional work, looking like it was thrown together with leftover scraps from the shop. This was a terrible experience, making an already trying experience worse. The owner of this shop is just plain evil.

Took my chair in to have reupholstered and paid the owner (Ken)$240 down. He said it would be ready in two weeks. To make a long story short, after 8 phone calls and 7 in store visits and excuse after excuse, three MONTHS later, I went in and the chair was in shambles. All torn down and completely destroyed. I had to call the police on the owner so he became upset and told me no chair no money back. He told me to "take him to court". So I am going to small claims court. I see on the website "Your Missouri Courts" that someone else has taken him to small claims court. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. It has been a nightmare.
