AEksent is an accent modification and public speaking coaching service. Uniquely blending the training modules of both theater and speech pathology, AEksent empowers English language learners to communicate confidently in any setting and empowers all public speakers to present confidently. AEksent differs from other accent modification programs in that it incoroporates techniques actors have used for centuries to develop clear, natural speech with specific speech pathology training methods used to develop a more neutral standard American accent. Increasingly, individuals are called upon to speak in front of audiences of diverse backgrounds and cultures. Speakers need to be clear, articulate and comfortable in front of an audience. AEksent differs in its approach to public speaking in that it enables business professionals to find their authentic voice, rather than learn a stilted technique created by someone else. AEksent provides clients with an individualized training program tailored to suit their specific needs and goals.
