Established in 1974 and located in Kansas City, Mo., Central Air Southwest is a certifiied air carrier operating under Part 135 of the Federal Aviation Regulations, and specializing in cargo. It serves a variety of clients, such as banking institutions, parcel delivery companies, medical laboratories, air courier companies, photograph processing centers, newspaper publishers, and automotive manufacturers. Central Air Southwest operates more than 30 twin-engine Aero Commander 500 B, 1500 S and 1690 Turbo Commander carriers. It offers an on-demand charter service with the Aero Commander 500 B and 690 Turbo Commander carriers, and a Federal Aviation Authority-authorized second in command program. It additionally offers general maintenance support for Aero Commander 500 aircrafts.
