Overall
THEY WILL RUIN YOUR WEDDING!

I hired Flashed Photography to photograph my wedding. It was the first thing I had a year and two months before my wedding. Teri took my engagement pictures. It took forever for her to commit to a time to take them, she kept putting me off. Then they were awful, not one close up and she rushed us through it. Then within a month of my wedding she wouldn't set aside time for me so my wedding planner had to get into it with her. We finally got together to meet three weeks before my wedding, we met for two hours and everything seemed fine. We had payed the entire total of like $6,000 dollars, everything was good to go. That was until two days ago she sent me a very trite, casual e-mail that she had an emergency and could not photograph my wedding. 12 DAYS BEFORE IT IS SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. No personal phone call and no explanation, no nothing. She does not care about you. She is fake and bossy. And does not care what you want when you are in the planning process.

Overall
broke thier own contract

We had Flashes come out and take pictures at our wedding Sept. 2nd 2006. They come does a great job on taking photos, but broke thier own contract on the delivery of when our alumbs would be done. It took 14 monhths to complete when it was suppose to take 7 months. Below is the timeline we experienced. We paid $4200.00 for the photography and 1 CoffeeTable Album in February 2006. June 2006 we took pictures for engagement. In July 2006 paid $300.00 for some engagement pictures. Our wedding was September 2, 2006. October 18, 2006 went to Flashes to see our photo video. We Paid $1029.85 (2 Parent's Albums were $760.00 and $250.00 for the copywrite to our pictures. I'm not sure but I think the extra $29.85 was for tax). October or November 2006 Flashes sent us our pictures online and a format to fill out for all 3 of our albums. We filled it out after going through and selecting our pictures. We only requested the exact number of pictures that Flashes said would fit for our album. I included a note on the Flashes form that read: "I tried to fit things into categories but don't really care how they are presented as far as order. You can use your judgement on how it looks. Call if you have any questions." This was turned in end of January/ beginning of February 2007. I contacted Flashes in July 2007 (5 months after turning in our pictures) asking when we will receive our albums. The secretary said it was not yet completed. She later sent me the online version of the CoffeeTable book to approve. It was 4 pages too long. Flashes requested we pay $400.00 for these pages. This was a bait and switch sales method we know the company has used with other clients. We said we had requested the album to fit the number of pages provided since we had only submitted the appropriate number of pictures for a normal sized album. Flashes then sent a revised album that was the right number of pages. We asked about the Parent Albums. The secretary did not know we had purchased these. We have not seen anything since then on any albums and it has been almost 3 months since we approved our album and 14 months since our wedding. In all we have paid them $5530.00 and do not have our albums. We contacted an attorney who contacted the company a little over a week ago. We have the parent alums now, but do not have our wedding album. We are requesting some form of a refund for such poor services and that the company broke thier own contract of delivering the alumbs well before this date. To date even after filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau they will not provide any form of a refund.
