Overall

I'm a small retail liquor store owner. Recently Glazer's Midwest acquired some nation-wide major brands from Kansas City's preferred distributor, Major Brands. This acquisition resulted in approx 60% growth for Glazer's, Instead of celebrating their good fortune and sharing the sales proceeds as done previously, they've directed uncounted financial resources toward hiring new sales personnel and managers for 2 New Divisions: Diagio, Moet, Hennessey and Jazz Spirits which includes Crown Royal, Seagram's, Bacardi, and others. Glazer's ordered the Sales Team that brought them to success will no longer receive any Sales Commissions that they've traditionally depended on; all Salesmen are now Salary. The Company has decided that every On/Off Premise Retailer must have 3 Salesmen, even though many independent retailers (their customers) have voiced opposition. 3 Salesmen from one Company to sell us the same liquor and wine we've been buying for years from a single salesman from each of two companies.

Glazer's has never been known for Integrity nor Excellence. Frequent out-of-stock products when said product is posted down is the norm. I'm most un-impressed by the way Glazer's Corporate has thrown their Professional Sales Team under the bus, they're suddenly not confident the men and women who brought them success in years past can handle selling more liquor.

I've expressed my comments to Glazer's Midwest-KC and they don't seem to understand nor care. I tried to find a "Contact Us" e-mail link for Glazer's Home Office from their website, and there is not one, which leaves me to believe they don't want to hear from their customers either.
