Vocational Services, established in 1967, is a nonprofit organization that provides employment and other related services to citizens with developmental disabilities. It has a workshop that provides packaging, shrink wrapping, polybagging, weigh counting, heat sealing, bundling, auto-taping, collating, assembly, mailing and related specialty services. The organization provides several pet care products that include first-aid kits for cats, dogs, birds and horses. Its work and personal services program assists people with disabilities who might otherwise not qualify for workshop opportunities. The organization runs a school-to-work program that serves as an early intervention program for high school students with developmental disabilities. In addition, its supported employment program assists individuals with mental and developmental disabilities in obtaining their choice of employment. Vocational Services is recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
