Family Pet

We started taking our dogs in to the doc and have been very happy there. We had our cocker fixed as a young puppy at the age he suggested. Of course I worried but she did fine, came home and recovered very quickly. His prices are reasonable and easy to schedule. He handles our 14 year old cocker with ease and he is old and cranky.

The main reason I chose this vet is because the other's are so expensive. Blood tests alone are hundreds of dollars! Dr. 'R' does love and care for animals. My kitties love him! That's my experience! I had my 7 yr old Yorkie spayed a few months ago because it's so expensive elsewhere! She's fine! I had one of my 3 kitties teeth cleaned and she too did very well. He is also treating her for kidney issues. He's our family vet and we love him! BTW, if you want blood tests done, just ask. I'm sure he will be most happy to accommodate.

Today I got my boy neutered. As I walked in the clinic a lady had me fill out papers. I asked if my dog needed to get blood work concerning the anestesia. She said no he's young enough he will be fine. He was 7 months. Nobody reviewed the papers with me. Including the actual Dr and his help.Not thinking a thing but to get him neutered I received a phone call saying he passed an hour in a half later. The girl was NOT A PROFESSIONAL VET BUT YET A GROOMER who had Givin me the papers to fill out.She's also the owner of the grooming side. She had no respect when by boy passed. Continued to vacuum while I was balling my eyes out. Now I'm heart broken with a very quiet home. I just want him home. He was a healthy pup. I guarantee the vet put too much anastasia. I would ng recommend to get your dog groomed there. I get accidents happen and he was a rescue. But he had no health problems prior.
