Mills Slough Dog Park

This park is a joke! It's in a VERY dodgy neighborhood (a bunch of meth heads were hanging out at the entrance and accosted me for parking in the handicapped spot...I am handicapped and my placard was hanging from the rearview mirror). The dog area is at least a quarter mile hike from the parking area down a walkway buried under leaves. The dog area double gates don't automatically close/latch. The grass is overgrown, and the grass is covered in Spanish moss piles, which is a notorious flea & tick haven. And, there are NO human toilet facilities. Osceola County should be ashamed. Shingle Creek is more centrally located, in a better neighborhood, has better HUMAN facilities, but NO dog area. Some administrator should learn his/her job. I'll take my dog to Polk County, where the parks are clean and equipped.
