Root Canal Treatment
When your tooth becomes decayed or infected, if root canal therapy canâ€™t preserve it, Dr. Engelmann may recommend that your tooth be removed. If left untreated, dental infections will spread to other critical areas of your body, so itâ€™s important to take action and extract your tooth before the situation becomes worse.

Dentures
Unlike a bridge, there is no need to damage the adjacent teeth, and you are able to floss normally. The dental implant can also be used to stabilize a removable denture or partial, replacing multiple teeth. Implant-supported dentures and partials can give you the ability and confidence to talk and eat in public without the fear of your teeth slipping or falling out.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Gum Surgery
This is the advanced stage of gum disease in which irreversible damage starts to occur. Periodontitis requires a much deeper cleaning that reaches below the gum line to remove the harmful bacteria associated with plaque and tartar buildup. Depending on the severity of your case, Dr. Engelmann may recommend antibiotic therapy or gum surgery if necessary, both of which can be performed in our office.
