I'm surprised by the poor review below. We've gone to Dr. Harrington for about 8 years times two kids. I've only had to see a PA if it was a same day appointment, and even so, they gave me the option to see the Dr. at a different time, typically within a day... the severity of the problem at hand allowed me to chose the PA if I was not seriously worried. The PA was comprehensive, thorough and even offered to check with the doctor about things and get back to me. The practice is not overly reactive, nor under-reactive when it comes to treatments. They provide fact driven data so I could make smart decisions about how to move forward with a given situation. Kids felt comfortable with the Dr., (Godsend) while simultaneously, I felt like they had top medical supervision. Some offices compromise one for the other. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for an appointment. When I read the review below, I find myself wondering why the parent did not approach the front desk during this long wait.. perhaps not in her comfort zone to ask questions. I know about 10 other families who use this practice... most of whom have used this practice longer than my family... I know they'd say the same as me. It's unfortunate to see the family below had the anomaly experience. We recently moved and Dr. Jim personally emailed me a recommendation for a doctor in our new area... NONE of my other doctors took the time to do this. They genuinely care about the kids and their families over at Greenwood.

Well we have belonged to this group for a year now for our two girls and it was the worse mistake we have made. Both girls have yet to see their primary doctor, but one of the girls did get to see a doctor once (yearly exam) all other times you see a PA. Went in yesterday because one of girls has been complaining about a stomach ach for a while, last time we were there the PA said its a virus and it will go a way in a month or two, well it never did. So we went back and basically waited for an hour, as others came and were seen with in 10-15 minutes. As we were the last ones in the waiting room and they apologized as they had FORGOT we were there, and added that the other reason for the delay was an emergency had come in, but the emergency must have arrived before we got there, as no emergencies (as we can tell) came in while we were waiting. We were then told we would not be able to see a doctor (as it was 4:45pm) and only PAs were now available, so we left and went to urgent care.
