Venus Auto Parts

Short Version: I accidentally scraped the side of a parked car with my vehicle, and agreed to pay for the minor damage. After I paid Venus Auto Parts with a cashier’s check, I discovered that they not only didn’t make the repair, they gave the cashier’s check away to the owner of the vehicle I scraped. I paid for a service they didn’t complete and then they gave my money to someone else.

Also: They wanted me to first pay the vehicle owner directly, refused to give me an estimate/then later claimed it would cost me a ridiculous amount, refused to give me an invoice, and lied about accepting credit cards. This leads me to believe that Venus Auto Parts intended from the very beginning to simply try to acquire the money from me without repairing the vehicle.

This place is everyone's auto body shop worst nightmare, come true!
My dad's car broke down nearby and it was the closest shop.
They could not diagnose the car properly and told us that it was one issue, charged us $800 to "fix" it. Well guess what? NOTHING WAS FIXED AND THE CAR STILL WOULDN'T TURN ON!

For the next two weeks, I would call for an update MANY times a day. Every time incompetent, BS-ing receptionists would tell me they would "call me back" and NEVER DID or I was told inconsistent stories, each time it was more money to fix the car.

Finally, I had had enough and sent a tow truck to go pick up the car to take it to a certified Toyota shop. Guess what? THE CAR WAS MISSING!!! It was taken to another auto body shop without our permission!!! Why? Because Venus does not know how to fix cars themselves SO they have to go elsewhere to diagnose THE REAL PROBLEM and selfishly up-charge you ANOTHER fee and pretend it was there the whole time!!!

After two weeks and money spent... we are at square one!
