Proud Metro Kids Mom

My daughter started going to Metro Kids when she was two years old and my son started when he was one and still attends the school. I have always been and continue to be impressed by the dedication and love the teachers have for their kids. Both of my children have learned skills from their abc's to counting in English and Spanish and reading and writing. When my daughter started kindergarten, she had already mastered the skills that were going to be taught the first semester thanks to the VPK program. Metro Kids is more like a family than a school and we love that atmosphere. I have recommended this day care to other parents and am proud to say that they are happy with their decision to enroll their children.

Love Metro Kids...

My son has been at Metro Kids for 2 years now and we could not be happier with the quality care these children receive. The teachers are wonderful and take interest in each child individually. The collaboration of curriculums between a preschool curriculum a Sunday School curriculum allow my son to receive the quality and developmental education he needs as well as the Christian moral and values we want instilled in our son. It saddens me how ONE negative review can tarnish the image of such a great place because of hot tempered reviewers. Metro Kids is a great place for children, just ask my son.

Very Satisfied

Since our son began Metro Kids last year we are so pleased with the progress he has made developmentally and physically. All of the teachers care for the children as if they are their own. They foster the children's development in a loving, nurturing way. We don't ever doubt that our son is receiving the best care. We highly recommend Metro Kids to anyone looking for childcare.

Response to the bad review:

Metro Kids Learning Center is a small christian family atmophere preschool. We have never had an issue with ratio issues. However,if we are short staffed for any reason I, myself(director) always make sure to assist the teachers in any way to keep us in compliance. I am proud to say our staff is very dedicated to the children here at our school. Many of our children have been at our center since birth and stay with us until they graduate from preschool.

I was recently informed of this bad review and I must say I was saddened to see this paticular parent write such horrible things. She had her children in our care for three years. We absolutley adored her children and miss them very much. I have, and always will, address concers from the parents immediately. This incident that she mentioned is extremly exaggerated, and was dealt with as soon as I was informed. Looking at the original time frame she posted this review, her children remained in our care for over a month after posting. However,I do undrestand people get upset and say or do things later they regret. Since she mentions ratios, I would like to clarify DCF state guidlines. 2year olds have a ratio of 11 children to 1 teacher. 3year olds have a ratio of 15 children to 1 teacher. As per her complaint, you can clearly see we were far from being out of ratio. Our school is monitored by the Deparment of children and families, Church Of God, Seminole Coalition, and the Food Program. In which our reviews has always been in good standing, any issues that may have occured are dealt with and corrected.

I would like to say I wish her children the very best. and hope they are doing well.

GOD Bless

Proud metro mom

My child has been at this school for over a year now and our family loves it there!! My daughter is always happy to go to school and I have

found it to be a safe, fun, and friendly environment and I wouldn't have my child anywhere but there! I was highly disappointed to read the ONE negative review I found it seems to me that someone must have a vendetta they feel the need to make public ... I have never encountered anything like that at metro kids it's very sad to see when people feel the need to exaggerate the truth to feel better about themselves ! With that said this is a fantastic school and my child will be attending there until she starts kindergarden as!!! Love the staff and all the fellow parents I have ha the pleasure of meeting :) I hope anyone looking for a good preschool does all there due diligence and make rhe right choice!! METRO KiDS all the way !! Hands down

They have a really bad teacher...

They have a really bad teacher to student ratio. Also, I walked into a classroom and there were 7, 2-3 year olds all by them selves. No teacher in sight. I waited a couple of minutes, then looked for the teacher and she was in the kitchen making breakfast. very disappointing.

Also, Despite what the post above says my children do not attend this center anymore. I immediately pulled them out for their safety.

Metro Kids is an excellent day...

I was VERY disappointed with the previous review. I have been at Metro Kids for over 5 years and have never seen any of the children left alone, let alone 2-3 yr. olds. Even more disappointing is that the parent who left that review still attends the school. I find it morally wrong to mislead others about this school simply because you are having a bad day! With that being said, Metro Kids is an excellent daycare/pre-school. I have had 3 children attend from birth thru VPK, with my youngest still in attendance there. The teachers are wonderful and very knowledgeable about the appropriate developmental stages of the children, which is very important to me. Any questions or concerns I have are immediately addressed. The director Kim is also an excellent educator and does an amazing job running the school. My son looks forward to going to school every day and I would recommend Metro Kids to all parents looking for a warm, loving educational environment for their children.
