Food Stamps

So far I have been on hold for more than 20 minutes, which is totally unacceptable, I have tried to fax in a request for two days now, and the fax # given does not work. Faxed 3 times yesterday and it said fail - busy, and today I have faxed 4 times so far..... and it is stating no answer! I think they need to overhaul the system and get all new employees or get more help.

I can never get in contact with anyone over the phone. I don't all the time have time to go sit in that office, but it seem like that's the only way to talk to someone. And even that is unsuccessful. They never refer people to any other organizations that could possibly help that person. The security guards talk with the other workers about how people who receive government assistance are lazy and don't wanna work, they expect to come there and get free money for having babies. When you turn in your documents, they get lost and some how its your fault. I should not be punished because I fell on hard times.

I've been calling since 11 this morning and my worker won't answer her phone and when I call to just talk to anybody I just sit on hold forever.
