Last summer I boarded my borzoi there after having used the facility many times. Although I think the care given my dogs was very good, I would never go back due to the incident I encountered.
I received a phone call during the boarding from Dee saying in a casual voice "I think your dog died". At first I was shocked and then became livid due to the impersonal and cruel way of dealing with this. I demanded that she get the correct information as I waited on the phone. She then came back and said (casually again) "yes, your dog did die". Since my dog was only 7 and appeared to be in good health, this came out of the blue. I think that customer relations are equally important as the care for our loved animals. I hope no other owners ever goes through such a horrific situation.

The manager/owner is completely incompetent. She is greedy and manipulative. She has no idea how to properly handle or interact with dogs, and has no regard for the safety of the dogs that are there. Do not take your dogs here, save your money. The dogs spend more time in crates than they do out in the play yards.
Bruiser and I will be back soon for a day of plain old relaxing with new buddies. You guys are Great, Thank you!

My husband and I have been loyal Wags customers for about 6 years now but until recently, did not need to take advantage of the training offered. We adopted a puppy in October and realized right away that we needed to be proactive with training. We decided that In-home sessions would be best since many of our concerns focused on the home; we were put in touch with Joy to begin scheduling.
My husband and I set up the training sessions to mirror 'puppy pre-school' in the home. At our first session, we weren't sure what to expect but Joy was very nice and extremely professional throughout the entire session. It was amazing to see our puppy learn right before our eyes! Throughout the 5 weeks of sessions, Joy really listened to any concerns, shared in our excitement when our puppy consistently obeyed and was very patient with us!
After each session, Joy would give us homework (reminders for the different commands) and encouraged us to reach out if we had any questions or problems.
When we started training, our puppy was CRAZY when we would put the leash on her (very vocal, tugging at the leash, resisting the leash) and after showing Joy exactly what we deal with, she gave us great suggestions that we have been following and now we can put on the leash without it being a big scene! It may not sound like much to an outsider, but this was something that was a huge concern for us, so Joy was able to modify some of the course content to address specific concerns we had.
After this session, our puppy now knows the basic commands (sit, stay, down,etc) and we're still fine tuning others (heel & come [when outside]). The in-home sessions really helped jump start our pro-activeness for training and open our eyes to realize that we cannot expect her to learn things overnight and that it takes both owner and dog to achieve the command.
We are looking to take the next course at Wagsworth but just have not decided when!

We took our cockapoo to Wagsworth for a trim and bath. We just got him groomed but were interested and considering boarding him too. I was very pleased with his cut and he smelled awesome.

No other breeding facility that we have tried has taken such good care of my Buster. He is always happy to see me but never seems to want to leave Wagsworth too

We left our two dogs at the Wagsworth Pet Resort for 8 days a few weeks ago. At one point, I called to ask the staff a question about the dogs' eating habits. The staff returned the call within 10 minutes. I really felt like the boys were in good hands.

Wagsworth Manor is amazing. So organized filled with caring people. I love leaving my dog here because i know they will be well taken care of. They both come home clean and happy each time too.

I brought my dog Ollie in on Friday for a grooming and was so impressed by your staff. First, Ollie received a fantastic cut but also the customer service was amazing. Casey informed me that Ollie was nervous and that she noticed blood in his stool. She then proceeded to suggest that I pick him up while she calls my vet for an appointment. This is amazing service. To top it off, she followed up the next day and asked how he was (which I still owe her a phone call back). As for Ollie, the vet informed me that he is has a bout of anxiety and is stressed. There has been some changes in the household and he is feeling it. So sad!

To everyone at Wagsworth - Just wanted to thank you all for the excellent care Chief receives when he is there to play or board. Recently you went the extra mile for us by taking Chief in on sudden notice due to a death in our family. It has been a relief knowing that Chief is safe and happy in our absence. I can't thank you enough.

It was great to have many different options for the dogs on a daily basis. When I checked in the host at the desk, they were more than willing to customize my schedule for my dogs two weeks without hesitation. The report card at the end made me really feel she was well looked after and cared for. I would definitely use Wagsworth again and certainly recommend to my friends. Thank you for caring for my dog!

Thank you all so much for the wonderful care you provided for our furry family of canine and felines. We were amazed at the affection the dogs showered toward Ashley and vice-versa. We will certainly be bringing everyone back to visit again for our next vacation. The cats looked wonderful after their grooming treatment as well; I have never seen them look so healthy!

I just had to thank everyone again for taking such great care of Abbie and Gidget last week. They came home looking fabulous (especially after their baths) and happy too! They did sleep a lot when they first came home. This was their first boarding experience, and they were happy as we were! I didn’t even worry about them, I had confidence the staff would be fantastic; we will definitely be bringing them back for our next vacation.

I just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to all of the workers who make Wagsworth such a wonderful place for dogs to come. Bella was at another doggie day care and was not treated very nicely. We switched over to Wagsworth and I could tell immediately she was happier. Thank you for all you do to ensure Bella has a wonderful day with you all.
