Caused me more pain than ever!!!!

Had to put 14 year old dog down this week due to her quality of life. She had a fistula and pain in her jaw, which this vet broke cleaning her teeth!! She was vomiting constantly and clearly could not get comfortable. I spent hundreds of dollars at this office on this dog. When my husband arrived to out her down and we made the agonising decision , Dr. Patil called me and said she wasnt ready to put down!!!! 14 years old and suffering and he said if she could walk to her food dish I should not put her down!!!!!! Is that compassion????? I was devastated enough without him calling me to question my decision!!! Taking my other dog a mini-schnauzer somewhere else. !!!

Would not recommend bring pets to this vet. my cat was sick for the 2nd time. My daughter brought him and gave them a cap as to how much she could pay for the visit. They never updated on the cat at all. the only time we got info was when we called them, by that time they were already $150.00 over the limit and they proceeded to add more to the bill by the time we picked up the cat. So by the time the cat was picked up it was almost $300.00 over the limit we could spend. Well picking up all records for out cats to go elsewhere.

Definition of COMPASSION: sympathetic consciousness of others' distress together with a desire to alleviate it - I believe that says it all! Compassion Veterinary Clinic is by far the best in the MetroWest. All of my experiences with my pets at Compassion have been nothing but professional, knowledgable, honest and "compassionate". I would never go anywhere else. Thank you for everything Dr. Patil and all his Staff Members. I appreciate all of your kindness and care. Sincerely, Sharon O.

A kind, caring, qualified team of Doctors and staff. I've been going there for years, and most of the staff has been there as long. A place where everyone knows your name!Katrina P/ Marlborough

I would not go back if my dog was dying and they were the only vet in the whole world. We had a tumor removed off my dog's back. After 10 days they removed the stitches and said she could resume normal activity. The next day her incision opened up completely, so much that you could see where they removed the tumor. We had to call them 3x to get her back in to stitch her up b/c it was near closing time and they wanted us to wait till morning. After they finally helped her with her 4 inch long 1 inch wide open wound on her back they charged us $275 dollars and told us it was our fault, that she must have bumped into something to open it back up
