So I waited for them to arrive; expecting them to arrive late, they didn't!
When they got here i expected to get the run-around and them try to bam-bozzle me into buying other things I didn't need, they didn't... they were straight to the point and made sure i knew what they were doing... i couldn't have been more happy with Cool Air USA!

HORRIBLE COMPANY - DO NOT USE - SCAM ARTISTS! I called Cool Air when my a/c unit went out and they were able to come out the same day. When they arrived, they looked at the unit and said that we needed 3 parts - a capacitor, contactor and hard start for $1200. I said not to move forward and they said said how about $900. I said no and started to walk away and heard them whisper "she has kids, she'll pay" and then said how about $700. I said no and they said $600. We said no and walked away and the next day called another company out to look at it. The other company was amazing and said that I only needed a capacitor for $240 and within 5 minutes they had the air working. They also said that what Cool Air said was a total lie about needing a hard start because my a/c unit was so old that it didn't even take hard starts - my unit came out before hard starts were invented. So they tried to get me to buy 2 additional parts I did not need for $1200 when I only needed 1 for $240. Will never use them again.

They have VERY poor customer service. . Don't believe these guys. They are unprofessional. My ac went out about a year ago and my wife called Cool Air USA. They came out and told me my blower wheel was damaged. They gave me a quote $500 for their service charge. They over charged me for the services. I would not recommend.

So, I called them up and they answered the phone right away. They gave me a quote that shocked me, it was so low. "what a great price!" that's what i told the guy on the phone.

He told me that if I wanted to book an appointment they could be out in an hour or two... I was very glad.

They came out and they showed me what they would be doing exactly.

the guys that showed up were so polite and helpful. I am so glad I called them, and I can assure you on that.

They were awesome!.. they gave me a great quote and helped me to understand what needed to be fixed and what was running fine. i definitely recommend Cool Air Usa to everyone! they're great.

Can I give ZERO stars?



My landlord (who lives out-of-state) found these jokers... WHAT A MISTAKE! Last week she agreed to overnight them a certified check and they would replace the AC in my condo. The next day they called. They said they had spoken to the owner and everything "was set up" and that they needed to set an appointment for installation. I agreed to Saturday (about 4 days later) between 8 - 12.



And so today, I waited. At 10:30 this morning, I called and was told that I was next and an installer would be at my apartment by 12noon. At 12:15 a different person called and said they had "just received the check" and so they would come over on Monday. It was that matter-of-fact. There was no "sorry we made you wait" or even a "ARE YOU AVAILABLE ON MONDAY?"



I understood the attitude moments later when the man said "I don't even have to deal with you, I only have to deal with the unit owner!" With that attitude, I told him not to cash the check, I am not letting them NEAR my home.



I am currently looking for an AC contractor that understands the meaning of customer service!

Last week I hired Cool Air USA to service my AC and also clean my air ducts. I was extremely impressed with their honesty and pricing. They were actually on time, dependable and they did a great job. They even explained to me what they were doing the whole time.
