Confianca Moving

Terrible! I moved 1 year ago from São Paulo to Miami and they still did not deliver my container!! The container is now in New Jersey with another company called Universal Relocation that wants me to pay almost US3,500.00 to have my belongings back. I already paid the full amount of the moving to Confiança in Brazil when the container left an year ago! COnfianca is not replying anymore and they JUST DON'T CARE! DO NOT HIRE THEM!

THE WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. With that being said, you can imagine where this is going.



A friend of mine told me about this company and I decided to give it a try WITHOUT LOOKING IT UP ON THE INTERNET FIRST. Big mistake. I was supposed to pay $3,300.00 and all my stuff was supposed to get to Brazil within 2 months. So I paid and I still haven't got my things, and that was 7 MONTHS AGO. After I heard a bunch of excuses about the container being stopped by the custom in Brazil and them (Confiança Moving) having to pay R$3,600.00 (and they told me I was sharing the container with one more person, and each of us had pay R$1,800.00) to get the container released, I decided to verify the veracity of these informations. I called the custom in Brazil and they told me that they couldn't tell me at that moment how much they charged for our container, but they told me they charged last month a container with the same size as ours, R$1,500.00 (THE WHOLE CONTAINER) and that container stayed there more time than ours. The custom also told me that I was sharing my container with FIVE MORE PEOPLE (5 x R$1,800.00 = R$9,000.00). They are overcharging us R$7,500.00!!!!!!! CONFIANÇA MOVING IS A RIP OFF. THEY CHARGED US MUCH MORE THAN THE CUSTOM CHARGED THEM AND I STILL HAVEN'T GOT MY STUFF, WHICH I WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE 5 MONTHS AGO. I ALREADY PAID THE FINE THAT THE CUSTOM SUPPOSEDLY CHARGED THEM AND THEY STILL WON'T TELL ME WHEN WILL I GET MY STUFF, BECAUSE NOW THEY WON'T RETURN MY E-MAILS, AND I'M NOT GONNA CALL THEM BECAUSE I WANT EVERYTHING THAT THEY ARE TELLING ME, WRITTEN, BECAUSE THEY ARE LIARS, THEY LIED ABOUT EVERY SINGLE DETAIL ON THE AGREEMENT. IF YOU ARE STILL THINKING ABOUT GOING WITH THIS COMPANY, LOOK FOR MORE REVIEWS ON GOOGLE AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THEM STEALING THINGS AND DELIVERING DAMAGED ITEMS. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.
