Joseph Kantor is a skilled trial lawyer who has tried automobile, personal injury, legal malpractice, employment, commercial collections, small business disputes, aviation and dissolution/child custody cases to juries and judges over the past decade. Joseph is particularly gifted at telling his client’s story with compassion and empathy, using language that allow judges and jurors connect with while avoiding overly complicated legal terminology. Litigation can be difficult, emotional, and extremely disruptive to the lives of those involved. Joseph recognizes that his clients need both an advocate in court and a counselor to understand the process.
Henna is a paralegal working in our Minneapolis office. She assists in preparation and filing of DACA applications, naturalization applications, criminal matters, U-visas and family-based immigration applications.

• Representing the family of a man who died after the plane he was piloting crashed. John discovered that a faulty part in the engine was responsible for the accident. As a result of this product liability/wrongful death claim he secured a settlement of $4.5 million for the loss of support and relationship for the family.

• Representing a parent, and later other members of a family, in a case that involved intentional alienation of parental affection, kidnapping, and absconsion with children across multiple county jurisdictions in 7 states. After extensive investigation and working with multiple jurisdictions, the case was proceeded to trial and the children were reunited with family in Minnesota.
Jerzy’s practice is primarily focused on immigration, but also includes criminal defense and international commercial transactions. In 1995, he joined the Polish law firm of Soltysinski Kawecko Szlezak, where he practiced in the area of international business transactions. Upon returning to the United States, he worked as a public defender in Ramsey County, Minnesota. Since 1997, his practice has focused on immigration law. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). His interests include fishing, mushroom hunting and cheering for his favorite hockey team, the Minnesota Wild.
Sonia is a paralegal who works in our Minneapolis office. She helps and assists our attorneys in the preparation and filing of various immigration related applications. These include family based immigration applications, U visas, citizenship, consular processing cases and DACA applications.
