J & R Transmission

I have dealt with J R Transmission Back when the original owners had the place and they have always put together a fair price for great work and have stood behind every job they have completed.

The lady at the front desk was friendly but the business is aweful, we will never go back! We went in for an estimate and they told us $900 which was cheaper than the first place we went to so we went ahead and had the parts ordered, they said it would take three days for them to come in. We had them ordered on wednesday the 23rd, they called us the next day to set up an appt to get it fixed which was made for thurseday the 31st, they said it would be done by 11am that day, well thurseday morning comes and they call and said they forgot to order a part so they wont be able to have the car done until friday (the following day), then they called again and said they forgot to charge us a for a part and the actual estimate was $1200 not $900, we already put $300 down and had the parts ordered for it so we couldnt take it anywhere else. At this point we're pissed because the only reason we brought it there in the first place was for the cheaper price. Well Friday comes and we didnt hear anything else so we call them and they tell us the part hasnt came and they have no idea when it will be fixed. Monday comes and we still havent heard anything, so we call again, the lady on the phone said she would call us right back. Never did so an hour passed we called again, she said it will definitely be done today, but shes not sure what time, so she'll call us to let us know. Once again didnt hear anything, so we called back around 4:30, and she said it actually wont be done until tomorrow! So here we are 4 days; going on 5, after our scheduled appt still with no car, and paying an extra $300 dollars!!

Had work done on my differential and got it replaced two times and then they tried to charge me again this was all thin 6 months don't take your car here listen to the bad reviews I should off

I have the same issue of a rebuilt trans that lasts 1yr. The stupid lady at the front counter tried to take my work order as I complained my trans went out again another yr later. Now, my trans is leaking on the 3rd yr. They are fake people that use religion as their cover. Never do business with them.

this place was greAT! Friendly down to earth service! Job well done. You cant please everyone but they try their hardest to figure out the problem and fix it.i wouldnt trust anyone else but them on my car! i recommend j and r to anyone looking for good service not to mention they are very reasonable in prices!!

I did not even want to give this business one star but I was FORCED to!!!!!!!!! They are a RIP-OFF!!! They guarantee a transimission for only one year...huh...a car should not need another transmission when you at 160,000 pay and think you got a new trans dropped into your car, one year and 5 months and-40,000 miles later, we need a whole NEW transmission again! When we asked the new car guy if this car should need a new transmission after only 40,000, and he said no, a car should never need two transmissions and some do not even need a second one...When we went back to this man to do what was right...and at least check it out...he refused standing behind a one year warranty instead of being Christian and doing the right thing...the reason I mention Christian is they have a cross on their receipts...I guess that is to make you feel good...too bad the company is crooked!!!! They obviously used bad parts, or did not even do the job at all. The BBB will be notified of this....injustice!!! STAY AWAY IF YOU KNOW WHAT IS GOOD FOR YOU!!!!!!!

they have the worst service I have ever dealt with , they have no idea how to work on cars , i rather have the highschool autoshop work on it , they will make excuse after excuse and you will have to keep going back so they can charge you more , I reported them to the bbb and filed a lawsuit also
