I bought a guitar from there and later found my dream guitar and they refunded my money without issue as they were more concerned about making this buyer happy. I will go there whenever I need anything. Friendly people and good selection and prices are competitive.

I have known Dean for a long time just like Ray Rose who owned Ray's Music Dean is vary knowledgeable in the music business if it is instruments music or getting repairs or teachers he is the guy to see.As far as his prices are I say they are right there.unless you like spending money in gas and go to Toledo Taylor Detroit Ann Arbor,HE is the only one left in Monroe.And we need to support him .One other thing if he does not have it he has a lot of resources to order it for you

This shop is not overpriced, in fact it is quite reasonable. My child,as well as some friend's children have all had lessons at Penguin and have had an excellent experience. The shop is kind of dusty and little old but we choose to call that atmosphere. They offer lessons, rentals and a varied selection of instruments at a reasonable price, considering they are an independent, small business. The instructors are talented and giving. There may be a random pet cat, old coffee cup or a bit of organized clutter, but it is a fair trade for the knowledge that is gained there.

i wish i could give less than 1 star just for the cheating and overpriced to unsuspeting people.

they cheat people and sell WAY OVER PRICED to unsuspecting people.

I hope that you don't take advantage of all of your customers that way.
