Careone Harmony Village at Moorestown

I would not recommend taking your loved one to this facility. They say they specialize in dementia residents, but lack the care a dementia patient needs! The place is super expensive, but I guess they use the money to paint the walls because they sure do not invest the money into proper staffing. Everytime I went to visit, they would tell me they were "short staffed". After time after time of hearing that excuse, I realized they just did not want to hire more aides! At the time my mother was there, they had ONE nurse running the whole show. Kudos to that poor soul, but one nurse can not handle that type of work. Administration doesnt care what you have to say, they only care about your monthly payment. You can complain until you are blue in the face and they still would not budge. One of them places where they just feed you what you want to hear but you never see the outcome they promise. As if it is not hard enough to place your mother in a home, but to go home and think about the lack of care she is getting is horrible. And I thought maybe it was just this one facility, but no, they are all this way. When my mom had to go to the rehab portion, the care was no better! I was just shocked. Finally, I pulled my mom out of there and will never return. I wasted enough of my money there and if I can save someone else from doing the same then thats great!
