I called for a weekend plumbing emergency after coming home to my main sewer line backing up into my basement. Their on-call plumber was communicative, so polite, and showed up within the hour for a quick fix at a lower price point than the other companies who quoted me for after-hour work. I highly recommend and will definitely use them again!

I called Genesis plumbing to fix a drain problem. I showed the plumbers that showed up what I thought to be the problem and the area that I was sure the problem was originating from. They didn't listen, did a number of maintenance items and charged me $329 for what they did. I asked them to test to see if the problem was resolved. They said it wasn't necessary as they were sure they had resolved the problem. After they left, I tested to see if the bath tub drain was working properly. It wasn't and in fact is worse. I called within an hour after they left to report that the problem I hired them to fix was worse. I have not received a call back. It has been two days now. I will call a real plumber to fix the problem and advise everyone I know to never use this company. This company used to be Wilson Plumbing. Back then they were a first rate company. Under the new name an management, it has become a joke.

Genesis Plumbing strung me along for a week trying to get a gas leak fixed at a rental property. They fixed a minor problem without investigating to find the real gas leak source, but I had to wait for 4 days to even get a part. They replaced a thermostat on a hot water heater for $450, while other plumbers told me that they could replace the whole hot water heater for $450, instead of $850 that Genesis quoted me. I finally had to go to another plumber who fixed the real leak for $300, while Genesis bid the job at $625 to $800. While the work they do is probably not bad work, their lack of concern for finishing a job quickly and their high prices mean that I will not be returning to them for my future plumbing needs.
