Chic-A-Sea Restaurants

I'm only giving them 2 stars bc the food is actually one of the best in the area, but that's only bc their is only about 4-5 other places to eat in the area, including the corner store. I support them, bc their black owned, not prejudice, but if it was a woman's, Asian, Mexican whoever, I just try to support ethnicities in business. Never again! I've given them chance after chance, and to no avail have they changed my opinion about them. First, it's family owned, so no one cares about your complaints, bcuz they're not firing their niece, nephews or cousins.Second, the manager is rude, ratchet and they could care less about losing you as a customer. They NEVER make up for their mistakes. Third, you can call thirty mins in advance and they'll say it'll be ready in ten, but NEVER are they ready. They will sell your order to whoever picks up a similar order first. Yet, the icing on the cake was the tiny scared mouse that escaped from the kitchen into the waiting section of the restaurant. I almost screamed, but I held my composure. Luckily I didn't pay yet, bc they will try to do EVERYTHING in their power not to give you your money back. (I.e The manager "Ms Maxine" was extremely rude, snapping her neck and not caring about customer complaints, wait times or refunds. She has no customer service skills and neither do the staff in chic a sea, it's utterly ridiculous and a shame that people of my own culture is that ignorant, rude and downright hateful. I gave them many chances, but that mouse, was the end of that chapter. Now as for the chic a sea on 40 something & Jefferson, hands down best service, chicken still smoking & the nice healthy woman at the window gave me a free refill. I guess they put the ratchets downtown. Smh! The owners need to do some serious retiring & re-hiring here...
