After 2 other horrible dr visits to other area vets in Ocala, which I would NEVER reccomend to anyone, we brought our 17 year old cat to Skylark Animal Hospital to see Dr Bradley Southwell. What a difference for the Best!! When we got to the hospital we were assigned to Dr Southwell and am I glad we did. HE was AMAZING!! Let me first start and give credit where credit is due. Lets start with the front office They were Absolutley FANTASTIC. The front office was kind and caring and they got us in immedietly being he was ill..And now to Dr Southwell. He was kind, considerate, and so compassionate and treated him as one of the family.. We had to this day, say goodbye to our baby of 17 years and it was so very hard and Dr Southwell was too feeling sad along with us and was so gentle and loving.with him you would think it was his baby. He comforted him till the very end and kept him at ease thru the process by petting him and talking so gentle with him along with us. He was AMAZING and I would ALWAYS bring any animal I have to him and no one else. I would HIGHLY RECCOMEND DR BRADLEY SOUTHWELL TO ANYONE WHO ASKS to who to bring their pet to in Ocala Florida. Thank you to EVERYONE at the Skylark Animal Hospital so much for all you did for us.and our JoJo. Most of all to Dr Southwell for all your kindness for our little man. We miss him so very much but am so very glad we found Dr Bradley Southwell.

Provided by DexKnowsSkylark is a wonderful place to take your pets. The staff is very friendly and professional. They make you feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the door. Anyone who says they have bad service are upset over the price of helping their animal. They have reasonable prices for exceptional service. They don't offer up-front payment plans, but I've gotten on a payment plan twice with them. They are willing to help you if you need it. They also take CareCredit, which is a vet/dental credit program. I highly recommend this vet to anyone who is looking for one.

Provided by DexKnowsNew to the area, I needed to find a local vet for my 2 cats. I tried Bricks City once but my pet and I had a bad experience... Skylark's name was passed to me by my hairdresser. One of my cats had a small fast growing tumor that needed to be removed. From the moment I called Skylark AH and spoke with Cheryl on the phone, I was in good caring hands. Dr. Hendin was friendly, calm and thorough...so was the staff. My cat had surgery and dental work at the same time, and did great!, He healed well. Nice people, great practice! It's smaller, "old school", personal touch...not just one of hundreds seen. If you want a website presence, they don't have one--which made finding them online harder. Don't hold that against them. They do have laser surgery and all the rest of the state of the art things you would want, including 2 talented caring Doctors, 2 talented caring vet techs, Cheryl, and a steady loyal client base...I'm happy to be one of them now. Relieved.

Provided by DexKnowsTake all 3 of my pets there and have no problems the staff is amazing and so are the doctors. No they dont have a payment plan but they do carry Care Credit which is nice. I understand why they dont have a payment plan heck its just like our dr they dont do payment plans but they give you the best care you would need! would recommend to all my friends and co workers

Provided by DexKnowsMy experience with Skylark has been very positive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions and were very considerate. They treated me as though a customer should be treated. They were very knowledgeable and instructed and educated me in the best interest of my pet. Very professional!

Provided by DexKnowsI love Skylark Animal Hospital. Beyond the fact that they are extremely professional, they are with out a doubt the most caring facility to be found. My pets are treated with such care and compassion and I feel the entire staff goes over and above what I would expect. Dr Mark and his staff show great concern for your pets health and comfort. I would not go anywhere else.

Provided by DexKnowsDon't bother ... There are better animal clinics that are more reasonably priced, have payments plans and care about YOUR animal instead of making money off of you.
