        Ko's Black Belt Belt Academy has been established in the Kansas Area for over 40 years. Grandmaster Ko Brought Tae Kwon Do from South Korea in 1976 and has taught his three sons the authentic tradition of martial arts. Their true passion for the martial arts and helping people show every day, in every class. Grandmaster Oh has opened Ko's Black Belt Academy in Gardner 2006 and Olathe 2013. We place our students' positive experience and personal growth at the center of our teaching approach. Our instructors are the most positive and motivating instructors, focused on giving your family the best martial arts experience available.

        Overall

        We have been members here since late January 2014 and my boys have really benefited from these classes. My older boy (8) is naturally very clumsy and "spatially unaware". His body awareness has drastically improved. Not to mention his self confidence! The cross-body exercises also really help his focus during school. My younger boy (5) is loving it too. He is not as fast as the older kids, but he works so hard for Master Steve & Grand Master Ko's praises! His face the first time he broke a board at his belt test was just priceless!



        This school is worth the cost - you won't regret it.

        If you want the BEST in the business, this studio and their sister studio in Gardner are it! Instructors Grand Master Ko and Master Steve are the kind of quality you want your family exposed to!!! We just love them!!!
