This location is a disaster.

I'm a seller from Ebay and my packages still there for more than a week.

No body care about it.

Is there something we can do about it? ?

very sad!!! my package has been at this location since the 23th of April and was suppose arrive to me the 25th. Purchase items for an upcoming event. Afraid I wont get them in time. Called around and keep getting the run around. Seem like no one wants to help or cares. It just isn't fair!! Read all the negative reviews. Don't know where to start or what to do. They've been sitting on a priority two day package of mine for 3 days, when my location is NYC and their number has been busy all day long. What kind of any retail location doesn't have a multi-line phone and hangs on the line all day long? Read all the other reviews, employees stealing packages, etc. Someone shut this place down!

USPS needs to shut this office down! i have lost many many packages that belong to my customers. You call and try to speak with a supervisor and it is even worst. they don't seem to care at all

im a seller on ebay and amazon, sending over 800 pieces a day. my packages were sitting in this sort station for a week!!!!! They do nothing.....4% packages were lost there. horrible !

my star rating would be less than 1 for this facility if I could choose -. I was a recent eBay seller that lives in South Florida, and my package to my buyer who lives in South Dakota has disappeared off the face of the earth. This was no cheap item as I'm sure a lot of you also have the same problem. I intend to investigate how we can deal with this problem with the USPS postal service in OPA Laka, Fl. Never again USPS!!!!

Me too. Still waiting on a package that I am sure will never arrive because the people at Opa Locka are stealing everything they can get their hands on. The amount of theft in this facility is second only to the level of ineptitude. Can you believe that USPS had the unmitigated audacity to state openly, and with a straight face, that they have "dependable and reliable delivery service"? WE NEED A NEW POST MASTER GENERAL!!!!! It is more than apparent that there are extreme problems in Opa Locka, Florida. It is also apparent that those in management and governing positions do not care to concern themselves with the problems in this facility, or perhaps, they are just incapable. Surely, you would think that representatives of the USPS would understand the importance of timely mail and parcel delivery. For example, there are many people who order their diabetic medicine (and other varied serious medicines) through the post office. I wont list the many scenarios (most people can imagine for themselves), but we all know that any one but a number of critical issues are centered on timely notifications and deliveries. Someone's life, health, physical or mental well-being may depend on it. If the Post Master General is too busy (as people have been complaining for years), we need to find a replacement who has more than a superficial understanding of the office he/she holds, and a deeper respect for the people it serves.

worst facility ever nothing like promising a delivery date and blowing it what a credit to the usps no stars is what they deserve want to save money usps start terminating the employment of every individual who is employed at this location and hire trained monkeys since the current staff seems less competent than a bum off the street

I had ordered a item from amazon and it said it would take 1 month for delivery....o.k, fine. After a month of waiting still nothing. The package is going from opa locka to hollywood , back to opa locka, while the right address is located ON the package...here's the best part......when I tried calling the location the number it was disconnected....WORST USPS EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

OMG! After reading the reviews I'm really worried. I sent a hand-made afghan priority mail to my son. It was due to arrive on March 25th. Like others, tracking shows Your item arrived at our USPS facility in OPA LOCKA, FL 33054 on March 24, 2015 at 12:25 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination. I spent many hours knitting this afghan and YAY, if I make a claim, I'll be reimbursed $50 (less the $15.80 I paid for the postage).

Oh God after reading the reviews about this place Please wish me luck..... only been a couple of hours, but its not looking good.

I order from a ETSY seller a item sent to this SORT FACILITY scanning ARRIVED at 1:19am, Thursday morning>> have since seen NO-OTHER scan DENOTING ( DEPARTURE) or anything; I believe my PARCEL is most probably still in this OPA/LOCKA facility: I recently made a purchase from WASHINGTON STATE, I couldn't believe the FANTASTIC TRACKING and ARRIVAL I received: with in 3 days I received my package!! BUT, this from FLORIDA >>> seeing absolutely NOTHING further NO other SCAN, UNLESS my package is the TRANSIT ROAD: BUT, HIGHLY UNLIKELY: BLESSED BE! DIVINE INTERVENTION MAY HAVE: RECEIVED MY PARCEL ON A MONDAY MARCH 23, TOTAL SURPRISE WHEN I SAW A PACKAGE STUFFED IN MY MAIL BOX, FROM A FLORIDA ( I AM GRATEFUL MY PACKAGE DID ARRIVE!!!! I will never use the USPS again, would much rather pay Fed Ex or UPS . Service here is terrible, cannot get anyone on the phone to get answers.

Shipped something for 2nd day delivery 4 days ago and nobody can tell me when I might be lucky enough to get this. All they say is you will get it when you get it!

These guys suck. Sender right off the bat said in case it doesn't arrive wait for it a couple of days. Filed a complaint against the incompetent thieves that work there. I feel sorry for anybody having packages go through here.

Very week customer service and your packege can get lost and no one will help you or even try to find it
