        For an experience reminiscent of resort mornings & a great breakfast spot, this restaurant delivers

        Although somewhat expensive, with a semi open display kitchen & nice seating; both booth & tables available. Busy, if you come when its in the full swing between 8am-10am, be prepared to wait a bit to sit. Coffee is good, Tex-mex & california omelet fillings with fluffy pancakes & nice sides; some expected; some unusual. Fresh fruit sides, & servers are reasonably well informed. Closed by 2pm, there are some lunches on the menu but more geared towards breakfast/ brunch. The Sandlake location is just off of a rather large lake front shopping mall laid out like a shopping strip but with MUCH nicer stores & a design that invites you to walk before & after eating there. For once, with a boardwalk in sections in the back of the stores, there is as much to do walking & siteseeing where the restaurant is before eating there; as there is window shopping & other restaurant looking in the area after breakfast or brunch. A good Saturday morning adventure.
