Tim, the owner of this auto repair shop, is an honest man. That's a huge accomplishment to me since many auto repair shops and dealerships attempt to get you to do unnecessary or non-existent repairs. To keep it brief, I took my car for a routine oil changes a Toyota of Orlando. After about 20 minutes they came back and told me I need to re-seal a timing box and reseal my axle ball joints. They wanted about $1,600 for this and the representative at Toyota of Orlando told me that if I didn't have it done soon I should, "think about selling the car because this is really important." This was my first time at that dealership so I didn't believe a word they said. I found Florida Transmission Repair and I called to see if I could bring my car in. Tim answered and asked what I was quoted and the worked they wanted to do on car. I brought it in the next morning and within 2 hours of dropping it off Tim called me. He told me that the timing box had 1 drop of oil outside the box and that the axle joints were just fine. He said, "if this were my car, I wouldn't do a thing because it's just fine." He told me that, " it was in great shape and that I'd maintained it very well." He went on to explain that his shop doesn't "fish" for work. They are honest because they believe in treating people fairly, unlike car dealership garages. When I went back to pick my car up, they DID NOT even charge me a cent for looking at it. No $10 or $20 fee that I was expected. There was no charge whatsoever. I will definitely be using them again when any need arises. They are trustworthy and a small business that deserves your business. Stop giving money to the big (Lying) dealerships.
