Overall

they have a good selection of cars on their lot.....i was able to buy a Mercedes c320 for about $2000 less than everyone else was selling one and in better shape....my salesman Luis was very helpful and straight up about any concerns about the car.... i definitely recommend global autos to all my friends and family....

Global Autos is a great shop. They have a great selection of vehicles. I was helped by one of their younger employees...his name is Adam and he was able to help me find the car that I had found online, toyota camy newer with low miles. Very pleased with the service that this young man offered me. Would recommend him to anyone looking for a new car at a good price!

I would highly advise against looking for a car here unless you have the resources to deal with the cars they sell. I lucked out in having the money and help to deal with the nonsense I went through after buying a car from this place, but many may not be so lucky and should just generally skip this place all together. Some of their cars do have potential to be great, but only after you fix the things that are wrong with the cars they sell, because they do not sell safe, and fully functional cars and they lie to boot. Here was my experience with these guys.



At the start of the year I was shopping around for a car and was looking for a VW. I came across Global Autos Inc and checked out their lot. Many of their cars seemed beat up, left out in the sun or dirt, and other simply had a ton of millage. I came across three Jetta's that caught my interest. The first one was a stick which I can't drive so I had to skip on it. The second one looked great and had a decent amount of miles on it, but the mechanic who was with me test drove it and determined that the transmission was bad and even told the dealer about it who acted as if he didn't know that it had an issue. Then we come to the third Jetta which I ended up buying. Had a few more miles on it, but looked fairly good. Just needed some TLC. My mechanic checked it, test drove it, and did not see any red flags or big issues to avoid. He gave me the okay to purchase the car as it was a fair price in his opinion which was 4,400 which includes title, tag, dealer fee, and registration.



I put 200 bucks down and returned the next day to pick up the car. The dealer assured me that he had put in a brand new battery which I had my doubts, because it looked like one of their mechanics was jumping the car instead of switching out the battery, but I was so excited and naive that this went right past me. The next day I was cleaning the car when the batter died. My roommate checked it and said it was fried and useless. So I switched it and let the issue go despite the fact that the dealer lied the me about the battery.



2 weeks later while attempting to drive to the dealer to pay off my remaining balance the car overheated. I could only drive about 1.5 miles before I needed to pull over the shut the car off. Had to have a friend pick me up and had the car towed to my house the next day. Had a mechanic look at it and he determined that it was the water pump that was the issue. I had to have the water pump, timing belt, crankshaft seal, camshaft seal, heat sensor, and thermostat replaced to get the car working the way it SHOULD have been sold. To boot the crankshaft seal had been thread locked which is not supposed to be done on Jetta's and I had several mechanics look at my car and come to the same notion. They all can't be wrong.



Of course this is a buy as is dealership and it is the customers responsibility to deal with any issues that may arise with their car, but its the job of the dealership to sell cars that are fully functional as they where intended to be. Global Auto Inc essentially buys used cars, barely fix them so they can be test driven and sold and that is about it. Their cars are not safe and will most likely break down on you before the end of the month in which you purchased the car. They are also not beyond lying to you to sell any of their broken or in need of repair cars. Like I said before, if you have the time, funds, and the resources to fix a car then you should be fine. I love my car now and its awesome, and runs like a beast, but had I known all the issues it (and all their other cars) have then I would have walked away from that place all together.

As a happy repeat customer, I've bought two cars from them. A 1999 Ford Explorer Sport in 2008 and a 2003 Honda Accord Coupe in 2010. It's my guess they wholesale to the public because their pricing is very competitive. Usually the lowest on and offline for a comparable car. Both cars needed some work but I knew that going in and the pricing reflected it. Put a 100K on the Honda with minimal maintenance. Would shop there again. AAA+++

I should have went with my gut...

I should have went with my gut when i saw the pakistan flags inside the office, but i test drove and looked at the xterra we bought 3 different occassions, and ran it for 20 mins. I immediatly knew it needed brakes and was willing to pay that, and didnt appear to have any other issues. After buying it, we drove it from the lot, 5 miles down 408 and the vehicle started smoking. We then discovered a oil leak from the valve cover gaskets, immediately drove it back. The owner refused to take the vehicle back and told us its a $30 fix. This was a Saturday. I Took the vehicle to my mechanic where he discovered over $1100 of necessary work just to make the vehicle operate safely. Besides brakes, and vavle cover gaskets which alone was $275 parts and labor, had radiotor, heating, and coolant hose leaks. Plus broken center link on the suspension. He stated the owner should not have sold the vehicle this way. The owner refuses to pay for repairs. Do not buy anything from Global Autos.

They'll rip you off

We just bought a car for our nephew fron Global Auto in Orlando, FL and 5 days later, after he drove only 115 miles the car died on the highway. The diagnosis so far is that the cost to repair will range from $1500 to $3,000. This was a total rip off. We paid $4,650 for a 2002 Mazda Protege. We called the manager Javed and essentially he said "too bad". You don't want to do any business with these people. They don't stand behind anything they sell. I would think that after someone pays $4,650 for a car that dies in 5 days there would be some desire on their part to help with repairs. Not a chance. In this economy this is the kind of auto dealership that should sink into the ocean and go away.

They don't want you test drive the vehicle, and they don't like you if you actually want to buy one

My husband and I are normal human beings that simply wanted to buy a vehicle. We called ahead, we were there before any other people, and we found a vehicle that we were seriousely considering purchasing. The man helping us was distracted by some other customers, so we patiently waited for him to finish up so we could test drive. First he tells us to look around, and narrow it down are you sure this is what you want, etc. We said this is what we were looking for. So we wait inside the vehicle. He finally comes back and says "Alright, are you going to buy this vehicle or not? I mean, I don't want to be spinning my wheels." I was shocked and I said, "Sir, we are not going to buy the vehicle without test-driving it. People just don't give money away without trying the merchandise." He replied in a rage that was bizarre and well, just bizarre. He went on about how busy he was (again, we were there first, but still were willing to wait. I even noticed he was stressed and told him to "take his time, we will be over there.") he just went crazy, and I said "I really can't believe how rude you are, we want to test drive a vehicle that we are interested in, I can't believe this is how you are allowed to talk to customers." He says "You let me know when you are finished talking." I just could not believe it. He said, " I am not going to waste my time, you can drive around the parking lot if you like, but I am not spinning my wheels." My husband just said"You know what? Forget it." and we left the keys. He continued yelling at us in a rage while he followed us to talk to the unhelpful manager inside. When I told him the story, he said "Well, you know we got people coming in who just want to drive the car, but they don't want to leave a deposit because they want to look at other places, I would have said the same thing. " Oh my gosh, you mean people won't leave money for a car they looked at and liked even though you won't hold it? Incredible. I determined that they A. Are crazy, or B. Deal with really horrible people all the time and can't seperate serious buyers from joyriders or C. Never were taught basic social skills. Maybe all three.
