Ifixyouri

ifixYouri was hired to repair the USB Charging Port on a Samsung S3 on a recent Friday morning. I was told it would be ready by Monday morning, so I showed up at noon on Monday. They advised me that it was still not complete, so I picked it up around 6pm on Monday. That evening I noticed that neither microphone was working, so I immediately took it back in. Devin, the manager, immediately admitted that he had failed to properly shield and protect the board when he was repairing the USB port which resulted in alcohol spreading to other parts of the mainboard (it should be noted that the microphones are on opposite ends of the phone. How they both went bad is still a question). Thus they had to replace both microphones (one at the top and one at the bottom of the phone). I waited an additional 48 hours for this repair. I then picked it up and on the way home noticed that the auto rotate feature of the phone was not working. Devin said it was the accelerometer/gyroscope that was broken, although he denied it was the result of any of the work they did since the accelerometer was on the opposite side of the phone from the USB charging port. It was just “happenstance” that it went bad when they were repairing my phone. Nevertheless he offered to repair it at no charge, admitting that THEY WOULD HAVE TO REPLACE THE PHONE if they were unsuccessful. The attempt failed and Devin consulted with “upper management” who decided that they never said they’d replace it. I then attempted to re-load Supra e-key application on the phone. This app crashed when I attempted to open it. Supra advised me to check my memory card for adequate space. It was then that I noticed that my memory card was not installed in the phone. I called ifixYouri and Devin claimed that my 32gb memory card was not installed when I gave them the phone. Upon replacing it with a new card I attempted to reload Supra e-key and it still would not work as it did before ifixYouri attempted any repair. So I bought an identical phone from Best Buy and all applications immediately worked upon installation. Needless to say I’m EXTREMELY UNHAPPY WITH ifixYouri’s services. I’ve presented this review as factually as I can in order for the reader to make their own judgment of the services provided.

Thanks iFixYouri. You saved my life. I am a student, so I am not rich to say the least. I could go buy a new phone without an upgrade because I didn't have an extra 500 dollars laying around. My phone wouldn't power on or do anything. I brought it to iFixYouri to have it checked out. They checked it out and told me a cable had just come unplugged. The tech Bailey plugged it in and it powered right up. They would charge me anything..........which was so nice. I guess what I was most pleased about was that they could have lied and said I need a new battery or something and charged me, but didn't. Thanks again for the honesty.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, iFixYouri. I dont know what that idiot at the bottom of the page is talking about. I got my screen repaired by them and it worked great and looks great. I cant tell the difference. You know who else can't tell the difference. The Genius at the Apple store I brought it too after having an iOS upgrade problem. So, I wish I could give this company and Pete (He's so cute too) 20 stars instead of just 5. Thanks guys!

This place is the best. I cracked my wifes phone, which was fixed in 15 minutes at a fair price. The guys in the store were very professional and answered all my questions. About 3 weeks later, she dropped her phone in the pool. I thought I was going to have to buy her a new phone for 700 bucks. I took a shot and sure enough Pete was able to bring it back to life. It has been about 3 months and all is still good. I would recommend these guys to everyone. Thanks again, Pete, for the great customer service and saving me hundreds of dollars.

Absolutely horrible, avoid at all costs.



I cracked my iphone 4 last evening and had to go on the dreadful search of a repair tech to replace my front glass. I called several places and well came across IFixYouri. I called here and was greeted by a person named Pete. This guy was nice and seemed assistful. I asked about price matching which they claim they did, asked about different cases, warranties, etc... I found out through q&a that they had a clear case which I really liked the idea of. I also asked about the feeling of the glass, and what not which he said was no different then OEM (stock).



I drove over to his store only to be greeted by a young surfer kid and this Pete who was working on a phone and didn't seem interested. I advised him I was the one that spoke with him on the phone - and I get reiterated some of the questions. His tone, demeanor, everything had changed. I asked again about price match as I had found one person who did the screen for 125 and another for 135. He snapped and responded obnoxiously "We already lowered from 199.00 to 159.00 for the replacement I could take it or leave it!". I asked to at least see the clear case.. He brings it out and it seemed flimsy. I told him it seemed flimsy etc... and tried to touch the glass and he responded with a smart remark saying "there is plastic" on it.



He continued with his snide remarks till I was just disgusted with his attitude and obnoxious ways. I walked outside and called the 1888 number which rang into the office in West Palm and notified them of this guys poor attitude. The gentleman there told me he agreed and expressed that he nor his employees would ever treat people like that. Like I told him "your name is all over the front of this place" and this guy just ruined it for me. I also told him I would share this with everyone I know include the web (which he responded) "I really wish you wouldnt".



The gentleman at the West Palm store could not offer me anything else other than an apology.



I then looked for another store and found another one called http://UBreakIFix.com on Curry Ford road. I asked every question I asked this idiot Pete at the other store and was told he would price match, and had the OEM cases there I could take a look at. He pulled it out, let me look at the glass, etc... Younger guy maybe in his 20's and his associate of the same age were VERY professional, extremely helpful, and got me in and out in 35 minutes! I now have a white Iphone conversion. *You may ask why..?* I asked UBreakIFix why as well. He stated the feel of the glass, the response of the glass, clarity etc was no where near OEM. This is why they only deal with white and black iphone glass. They are REAL OEM, and they come with a warranty from http://UBreakifix.com.
