This place is WAY overpriced and they pressure you into more services for your cat, even if you tell them that you cannot afford them. Then they make you feel like a bad pet owner. Even the medication is overpriced. Dr. Avok is super rude, as well as the staff. They only give you limited amount of medication so that you have to keep coming back, a clear money making tactic, along with having zero respect for your time. I would NEVER recommend this vet to anyone, unless you like to spend unlimited amounts of money on your cat and be treated poorly while your at it.

Great place! Very friendly and took great care of my cat. He always get scared going to the vet, but they were very gentle with him and took their time, and I could definitely tell a difference. Will definitely be back!

Overall

My cat was failing despite the attempts of 2 other small animal vet offices trying to determine the cause of her condition. I finally took her to Bay Hill because I figured a cat specialist may be familiar with this specific disorder. Boy, was I right... Dr. Morford had a good idea what it was in about 5 to 10 minutes and a simple x-ray confirmed it... an impacted colon which was dealt with efficiently and expertly. I left much-relieved with a kitty no longer in painful distress and in fear for her life and a plan of action to ensure that it not happen again. Dr. Morford herself called me at home in due time to make sure her patient was progressing well.

I am completely convinced that this is the place to bring my cats when they need informed, caring, and complete care. I never felt rushed while with the doctor, and didn't wait at all to see her. Every question and concern I had was answered, and the possible procedures were patiently explained and presented with their costs in a list. It was really easy to understand that way. I did not find the cost of their services more expensive than any other small-animal vet.

The staff is knowledgeable and professional with a friendly touch and takes the time to attend to your needs.... it's not one of those too-busy offices that don't have the time of day to give you. I will not hesitate to visit Bay Hill again, despite the fact that I have vets much more close-by. Please give them a try!

For a specialty hospital I was expecting better service and more knowledgeable staff members. I had to come back 3 times due to mix ups in whoever was filling my cat's medication. That is ridiculous. I drove out of my way to come to a cat only clinic and they seem very unorganized. That staff was very nice but they just did not know what was going on and nothing was easy.

This used to be THE place to take cats for outstanding veterinary care. The veterinarians who started the practice, Dr Diane Delmain & Dr Scott Delmain, always had the cats' best interests in mind. They were very caring and ran an excellent facility. Unfortunately, the company that now owns the practice dismissed them, apparently because they were not over-charging! Now this is first and foremost, a business, there to make money. Our cats will be going elsewhere, because we can no longer trust that the primary focus will be our cats' health. I would recommend finding out where Drs Delmain go, and follow.

I apologize that you were unhappy with your recent visit. I can assure you that our doctors only have the patient's best interest in mind. Our practice was sold to Pet Partners almost 5 years ago. Our prices and policies have not changed. I would be happy to discuss your concerns with you and try to correct any misunderstandings, if you would like to contact me.

No Longer Recommended

Drs. Diane and Scott Delmain who are top-notch 5 star vets, are, unfortunately, no longer at Bay Hill Cat Hospital. Despite appearing to be a local business, this practice is actually owned by a NY corporation (petpartnersusa.com) who replaced them with another vet, Dr. Kari, who worked there previously, within the last year. I had a bad experience with her then when I had a sick cat that she treated. While she did do a good exam plus labs and xrays, she then wanted to do another expensive test the next day thinking my cat might have cancer. I initially said OK, but she began to improve that day. I called and asked if we needed to rush to do the test because if it was cancer a few days wouldn't make a difference. Dr. Kari immediately got very abrupt and hung up the phone. It was quite inappropriate, and made me wonder about her motivations and lose confidence in her judgment. The cat recovered without getting the test. I won’t be taking my cats there anymore.
