I weighed my brass and the scrap sergeants weight was actually heavier than what I weighed. Highly recommended.

definitely recommend this company they helped me upgrade my material and get the most out of my scrap.. I was even offered to stand on the scale to verify their honest weights, no where else would ever offer to do that! the sarge will get all my scrap from here on!

I recommend this company. What a good group of guys. The owners are extremely personable and the full service treatment was unexpected, but appreciated. They even insisted that I test the scale for accuracy. Thanks Dr.Copper for making me feel valued when I left instead of cheated like every other scrap yard that I have ever been to. As for the guy who had the negative remarks. If the board price said a certain number and you didn't like it why did you sell it. Sounds like they were straight up and you were just lazy to go somewhere else for your aluminums. As for their wire numbers they are always way higher than all other scrap yards. I know because I always check around just to make sure. I sell to Dr.copper every time.

The nicest and most honest scrap yard i ever been too. Scales are accurate and he gives top $ for every thing. Very friendly and helpful staff, were i'll be going for now on.

Contrary to one earlier review i find Dr. Copper to be very honest and his scales are right on.I know this because i always weigh b4 i scrap.It is true that his aluminum prices are not always great so if you have a lot you may want to call around first.If its copper you are scrapping then Dr Copper is the way to go.

This guy doesn't mess around from my experience with him, you bring your stuff you can take the price or leave it the prices he pays are advertised and he has a very friendly and helpful staff. Not sure what other places like this are paying for stuff but this guy takes a wide variety of things and all seems fair to me.

SCRAPPERS BEWARE....HE WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Went to sell my non-ferrous to Dr Copper because he advertised as having one of the best deals in the area. WRONG! I lost about $50 by going to him. It was one of my first sale and boy did he ripped me off. Only gave me $.35 on "cords" (as he listed) (export wires to us scrappers)(other junk yards are giving about $.92), $.25 for sheet aluminum ($.40 paid by others), and two more items that I worked hard scrapping for. It was my first experience dealing with a con artist like him, and it is my ONLY time going there. What a waste of time and my hard earn money.

I thought that that it was cool for them to let me stand on the scale. Most places would throw you out for even asking. Dr.Copper is where I will be going from now on.

This is one of the most honest scrap yards in three states that i have ever gone to and the #s are better than most.
