Rosita's Restaurant

I love this place, they have a great buffet and great specials durning the bay as well. The food is always tasty and fresh. Prices arerreasonable for the area and the staff is friendly. Been going for 2 years now...

I would NEVER recommend this restaurant to anyone! I went there for lunch with a couple of co-workers. I had chicken with salsa. As I was taking a bite of the chicken, it smelled and tasted terrible! I told my co-workersto try it and they just smelled it and agreed the chicken meat was rotten and wouldn't taste it for fear of getting sick. I called the waitess over to let her know and she took the plate back to the kitchen where she called the owner which was at the register. The owner of the restaurant left her post at the register to go to the kitchen. After a few seconds, the waitress came out to let me know that the owner tried the chicken and it was ok. Wow! I couldn't believe what had just happened. I did not make a big deal about it and we decided to leave. As we went to the register, the owner was back at her post. As I approached her. I decided to whisper to her that the chicken I had been served was spoiled. She looked at me with disgust and said, "No sir, the food was good! I tasted it personally!" UNBELIEVABLE! I wasn't even asking for anything. So I just paid my bill and said, "You just lost three customers." She just smirked and said, "sorry." Needless to say, I called the health department as soon as I got back to my office. STAY AWAY!
