Mecklenburg Bridal Gallery

The staff at Mecklenburg went above and beyond to make my long distance dress experience impeccable. I found my dress with guidance I trusted. As a shorter bride, (5'1") I was worried the look of my gown would be lost when altered- the staff reassured me that I could have the gown sewn for my height- and it came in perfectly! The measurements were right on and I was blessed to have no alterations on the absolutely perfect dress! I also loved my bridesmaid dresses- I found the perfect dress- in the not-so-perfect color, they contacted the designer and asked about turning the fabric inside out to get the exact color I had sought out for months. I felt special and cared for in the planning of my wedding, while working with Mecklenburg.

I did not have to pay anything to try on dresses but the staff member I worked with was unprofessional and had very bad breath! She was dealing with 2 other brides at the same time as me. I had to wait for her often. The service was extrememly bad. The dresses were very beat up, one had lipstick stains and another had a spider in it.They were mostly filthy. They only carry size 12 sample sizes. The building smelled musty. Overall it was VERY disappointing!

This bridal shop has absolutely horrible service expecially considering you have to pay to try on wedding gowns. The staff is very rude and the owner is not professional. They are very unaccommodating as well. I was going to purchase a $2K dress from them but they didn't have a sample. They said they could bring a sample in for 2 days if I paid $40 for shipping. You would think if I was going to buy a $2K dress they could throw in $40 to actually see the dress before I purchase it. I do not recommend this place at all.
